I just met with the nurse and had my baseline ultrasound done so I could start clomid for this cycle. Everything looks great and we are proceeding with the IUI for this month.
Bad news is that my 'ovarian reserve' results are in and they are extremely low. I'm 33 years old and almost out of eggs. I go in on Monday to check my ovaries out to see if I can trigger (I ovulate around day 10-12) and to have a consult with my doctor on next steps. The nurse said after this IUI cycle, if it doesn't work we might move on to IVF. I'm just really bummed right now, and I can't get a hold of DH to cry to. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm just trying to keep it together while I'm still in the pharmacy at the hospital. Nobody wants to see a crazy lady crying her eyes out at the coffee shop in the gift shop.
So so sorry to hear this! Sending you a big HUG and everything crossed for successful IUI. It's always so much harder when you aren't expecting any bad news.

Thank you for all of the support! It means a lot! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the IUI will work. If not, we will head towards the next steps and take it one day at a time.
I'm sorry! Fingers crossed that this IUI is it for you!

TFAS since May 2013
8/14 - Bloodwork showed heterozygous MTHFR gene mutation and elevated AMH (but no cysts)
9/14 - HSG, Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy showed tubes clear, but found and removed Endometriosis, scar tissue and 2 small benign masses on my tubes.
11/14 - Daily ultrasounds confirmed that my follicles are not releasing the egg and every other day blood draws showed very low progesterone... DH's SA was near perfect
12/14 - moving onto meds!!! Hold up!!! Surprise BFP after only taking the progesterone! Now what do I do with all of the other meds we already paid for?! Due at the end of August 2015 Beta#1- 4434 @ 22DPO Beta#2 - 7335 @ 25DPO Beta #3 - 14429 @ 28DPO
Low ovarian reserve here too! It is a bit of a stupid diagnosis though, honestly. If you are still ovulating every month, you're still releasing an egg and you have almost as much chance as anyone else of getting pregnant. I say almost because theoretically, our eggs our of poorer quality than someone without low reserve but the data on that is spotty at best.
I was diagnosed with DOR (diminished ovarian reserve) about 3 years ago and since then I've gotten pregnant twice naturally (one is my rainbow) and went through one cycle of IVF where I ended up with 5 happy embryos (way more than my RE predicted). The first two resulted in a c/p and the others will get their shot next month.
So the point is, don't worry too much about a diagnosis like that. If you're ovulating, you can get KU'd. Period.

@BootsOrHearts Thank you for all the info! It's good to know that pregnancy is still possible! The nurse is the one who gave me the news and she had dropped the 'I'm not telling you it's impossible, but it could be very hard' line. I meet with my RE on Monday, so I'm anxious to hear what she has to say.
It's so nice to hear about your successes with the same diagnosis!
I am so sorry for bad news! About 4 years ago, I had similar bad news and then got pregnant that next cycle! So keep the faith! Do you remember what your level was?
The nurse said it was 0.5. I know that the normal range is 1-6. I talk with my RE on Monday so I'm hoping to get more info from her then! @lilmac2929 What was your number at when you got your results back?
@Reagan1010, I tried to look back in my results and apparently they didn't have them recorded in the system I hope your RE has good reassuring words on Monday
