Rants/Raves/Appts: Appt next Tuesday for my glucose screening. Woot....other than that, feeling good! Propping myself up with a second pillow has greatly increased the stretch of sleep I get at one time!
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? I am thankful for lattes, not having an icy windshield this morning, and finding out that the baby bag I might want is 50% off right now!! And you guys.
I've caught a cold despite being a rockstar with my vitamins and exercise this week. Ugh! My next appointment isn't until after thanksgiving for my Glucose Test which I'm really not excited for as I'm terrified of blood draws. Can't believe it's time for third tri!
I'm super thankful for my cute little home which makes me so happy, my DH who has been amazing and for having two dear friends who are both pregnant at the same time with me; one 6 weeks ahead and one a tri behind!
Rants/Raves/Appts: No appts until Dec 3. Still feeling good, just sore, but not as sore the last few days!
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? My amazing little girl who makes me smile pretty much all the time. This group of ladies who listened to me BITCH incessantly last night. It was amazing knowing I had so many people listening to me and who were here for me. And my husband. Although we had a huge fight last night, I miss him. We didn't talk this morning and it makes me sad. We are very lucky to have each other, even though we hate each other's guts sometimes.
Week/Fruit: 29 weeks, two acorn squash. Do you know what comes next? 30. That's a whole new first number.
Rants/Raves/Appts: My next appointment is a week from Monday, so I'm looking forward to that. It would have been this coming Monday, but my doctor is on vacation (the nerve....). We do have our 3D ultrasound on Friday, so that's exciting.
Rant/Rave 1: I called the doctor again today to see when the iron supplements should kick in. I don't know if it is an immediate thing or take time. I took my BP after walking around the house (on the phone) for 30 minutes and it was 98/52. I am betting a lot of my issues are LOW BP because I only got it up to that after movement.
Rant/Rave 2: I just really wanna put together my effing nursery. That's all I effing want. I need to find someone to help DH get the dresser and other furniture, but family is conveniently busy all the time. I KNEW this would happen once it came down to it. Everyone says they want to help, but nobody ever effing actually does. We are so on our own. When SIL asked what she could do to help, I wanted to SCREAM that she can get her effing son's SHIT out of my basement.
Rant/Rave 3: My mother wants my babies to come home in nice smocked gowns that my sister and I wore home from the hospital. I hate them because they are yellow/white and I really wanna be able to telly my kids apart without looking in their diapers from the beginning. Not to mention they are thin cotton short sleeved gowns. Just put a onesie under it she says. Well mom, I'd need to add a onesie, leggings/pants, socks, hat, etc. and it would look effing FOOLISH. Oh, and mom, I know you had babies, but we are 35 ad 31. It is NOT okay to wear coats in carseats no matter what we lived through.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? Today I'm thankful for the best boss in the world. We had our weekly call (I work from home) and when she asked how I was I told her I still wasn't feeling well and she made me hang up and call the doctor's office again and be more forceful. Then she proceeded to listen to me bitch and moan about Rant/Raves 1,2,3 above. She's the best. I'm so lucky.

Twins? You mean two babies? WOW!
Team PURPLE!!
We are excited to meet William Alexander and Harper Abigail in 2015!
Appt/Rant/Rave: I had my glucose test Mon, and I havnt heard bad news yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't! I also had a ultrasound Monday, because I am at "risk" for a low birth weight. Blake proved them wrong weighing 2.5 lbs and being in the 60%. My only rant is I can't stand heartburn, and I'm really sick of trying to stand after squatting down!
GTKY: I'm thankful for being in my third trimester! I'm thankful for my family who lives 8 hours away coming to visit me (if they can get here, they live in Buffalo)! As always I'm thankful for all the advice from you ladies!
Week/Fruit: 27/Rutabaga - I'm confused because many of you are saying 3rd tri is 27 weeks, but I thought it was 28. Both the Bump and Ovia apps say 28.
Rants/Raves/Appts: LO has been moving around a lot the past couple days, which is exciting. I finally have an OB appointment on Monday after 5 weeks of waiting. I'll also be doing my GD test then.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today? I'm just thankful that it's Friday! I've been waiting for this week to be over because starting next week I have events baby/holiday/party related to keep me busy through the end of the year, which should make time pass quickly.
Rants/Raves/Appts: nope. Welp. I totally forgot about changing my ticker until I saw this post, so I guess I am happy that I am secure enough in this pregnancy now to not count days anymore. Nothing doing on the appt. front for a few more weeks. I don't seem to increase the frequency of my appts. until I'm like 34 weeks - so still every month for me.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? I am thankful it is Friday and that my hectic work week is over. We started getting baby things in the mail (shower is next Sat.) and I am also thankful for that and that there are only 3 more necessities we need before baby comes. The rest is just cake.
Rants/Raves/Appts: I have another appt on Wednesday morning, and after that appointments will be every two weeks. Wow, I guess we are getting down to it!
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? My glucose screening is on Wednesday--so I am thankful that is is BEFORE thanksgiving!I am also super grateful that I can feel the baby moving so regularly, and even see if through my stomach. It is a great reminder that he/she is healthy and growing. :-) H can see and feel it now, too, which makes him so happy.
Week/Fruit: 27/Rutabaga - I'm confused because many of you are saying 3rd tri is 27 weeks, but I thought it was 28. Both the Bump and Ovia apps say 28.
It is an inexact count. I break my trimesters into convenient three month pieces---so now that I am less than three months away from my EDD, I am calling it the third trimester!
Week/Fruit: 27 weeks today. Is this 3rd tri or next week?
Rants/Raves/Appts: had my glucose screening today no other apointment still dec 3rd. I love that I can finally (definitively) feel my baby moving! It makes me so happy!
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? I'm thankful for DH. He really has been great with me during the last 27 weeks; helping with house stuff, bringing me things I might need or want (like a chocolate chip cookie last night) and just generally loving toward me and our baby. I'm very lucky.
LOL, maybe it is the third trimester whenever the pregnant lady says she is in the third trimester. ;-) I was stalking the Third Tri board from week 24, just to see what I was in for.
Week/Fruit: 29 weeks - almost in the single digits for how many weeks left!! Acorn Squash (my doctor's office goes by 25 weeks is 3rd trimester so I have been in it for several weeks according to them).
Rants/Raves/Appts: I had an a follow up ultrasound this past Tuesday. Baby is growing great (I think they said she was 2.6 lbs now). She flipped so she is head down! (She was breech at my 18 week Level 2). My low placenta fixed itself so I have no worries there! I am very excited about that! I got a call from the doctor's office that I failed my glucose test (I passed with my first child). I asked what my number was and she told me 142. I then asked what the cut off was and she said 139. Ugh! I have my three hour on Tuesday (but luckily before Thanksgiving!). I have to remember to take my cross-stitching with me and cell phone charger to keep me entertained. I HATE being at places and just waiting - I can already feel my anxiety sky rocket!
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? I am thankful I am almost done making 140 cake pops and 140 snowmen oreo pops for my best friends business event! I am also thankful for a husband who knows when he is being a jerk to me for no reason, will come and apologize.
Rants/Raves/Appts: regular appt. and glucose test the Monday after Thanksgiving. I just took the whole day off because it sounded like a good reason!
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? I'm in the pit orchestra for a production of Cinderella in Chattanooga this weekend. Even though it makes my feet fatter than usual, I am thankful to still be able to do the thing I love to do, without too many potty breaks!
Rants/Raves/Appts: Bleeding scare last night but everything is good, baby boy's results for Tay Sachs are negative, and we're having our first date night since before I got pregnant tonight! We even missed our anniversary so I'm super excited.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? Happy, healthy little boy! I am so relieved that his tests came back negative. Also for my sister for taking DD out tonight and getting us a gift card for dinner! SO HAPPY!

GTKY: I am thankful for my hubby, friends, my job, and health.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? I'm thankful for my wonderful bosses. In the last week they've begged me to stay for another month before I leave and showered me with awesome gifts. They make me feel so appreciated and I'm sad I won't be with them for a while.

Rants/Raves/Appts: passed my GD test yay! Officially on every 2 wk appointments crazy.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? Oh gosh for a lot. A Healthy pregnancy, family both blood related and my church family and friends. Getting to go home for Thanksgiving.
Love is like infinity: You can't have more or less infinity, and you can't compare two things to see if they're "equally infinite." Infinity just is, and that's the way I think love is, too.

Week/Fruit: 27, rutabaga Oddly enough, my grandma (that passed away in August) always made rutabaga with Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts. Kind of makes me sentimental!
Rants/Raves/Appts: I know that talking about weight is faux pas around these parts. And my doctor is not concerned with my weight gain, and honestly neither am I. I swear if ONE MORE PERSON asks me if I am sure there is only one in there, I may scream. It is my 3rd child, I am chalking it up to my body knows what to do, and I am on track to gain the same amount I did with my first two babies. It is just hurtful to hear that I am as big as I look. Sorry to whine. But at least I'm 5'9", so I can carry the weight. She is a colleague, and knows that I am sensitive about all of the "wow your belly is really popping" comments. Luckily another co worker was standing there when she said it, and came to my rescue, saying "Lisa, why would you say that to her. You know there's only one baby."
GD test Monday morning, I think. I just have to go but the end of next week, so the doc has my results before my appointment the following week.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? Today, I am thankful for the magic of the holidays. My kids went to see Santa today, and the utter joy on their faces was priceless. DS is 8, so I am not sure how much longer he will believe.
I also am thankful for the ladies on this board. I hope I meet at least some of you IRL some day. I can always count on a giggle during my work day when I need it, and support when I need it too! So thanks for that!
Our family is growing by two feet and we couldn't be happier!
Rants/Raves/Appts: Appt on Wednesday to check on cervix again. Hopefully it is still closed and everything is all good.
GTKY: What are you thankful for today?? Like everyone else, I'm thankful for F15 even though I am a lurker a majority of the time. (Mobile bumping is hard)
