So if this LO is a girl (which I'm kind of hoping for) we plan to use my grandmother's name for a first name. I've always loved her name, Coralie, and am excited my H agreed super easily.
The thing is, Cora is pretty trendy and seems to be getting more popular. I know DH will use Cora (he agreed to the name because last of the Mohicans is his favorite movie) and I don't mind Cora at all.
Would the popularity (that will probably only go up) bother you in naming your child?

Our boy name choice is one that's pretty popular now. I didn't want popular but it's the only name DH & I both liked. We are pairing it with a less common MN.
My sister and I have two super common names, and a well known but not super common maiden name. But when I think about it I never minded being called with a last initial, or by my last name. I only mind how difficult people seem to think my name is to spell because there are no y's...
