Hey all, I'm new to the board although I've been on the ivf board for a week now. A little about me. I'm 37, never been pregnant, ttc since Jan after having my tubes unblocked. We tried timed intercourse three times, which didn't work. Instead of moving on to IUI we went straight to ivf & currently stimming for first cycle. Dh & I have been together over a yr. We're not married but in love & in a committed relationship. He has one grown child & another 14 yr old. He's very supported on my journey & advocates for me every chance he gets. He is 45 and has two grandchildren.. I know grands & I'm trying for my first lol. I always said if I don't have any kids by 37 then that's it for me. That was 10 yrs ago, now I'm willing to try until I get that bfp.. God willing, I'll be pregnant in 2015!

    Welcome and best wishes! I don't know much about the IVF process or what stimming means, but I hope everything goes successfully for you!!

    Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014.  Never ending cycle starting end of Sept... 
    11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues 
    12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle")  OBGYN had no clue... about anything 
    01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so  possibly straight to DE and IVF 

    Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).

    Welcome.
    Good luck with your IVF.
    Many woman here have done plenty of cycles. So ask questions if you have them.

    Welcome to the board! I also started TTC for the first time at 37 and I also had a time limit, but here I am still trying! Good luck to you :)

    October 2014: IUI #3.  More Follistim + More Ganirelix + Pregnyl + Crinone.  4 follicles--BFP!  Beta #1=10 Beta #2=33 Beta #3=97 Beta #4=158.  M/C 11/1/14
    December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    TTC#1 since Aug 2013, I'm 37, DH 41.  
    Maya Arvigo Abdominal massage (daily self care), plus TTC meditations.
    I'm very sensitive to diet (gluten, avoid processed foods) and environment. Have a history of inflammation and tendinitis before going off gluten in 2009.  
    July 2014 - RE Visit #1: Eggs look good, Endometrioma on R ovary, HSG showed blocked R tube close to ovary. DH SA normal 
    DX: Endometriosis probably the IF cause and gunking up tubes.  Since egg reserve is high, RE says I can wait a couple months and then get laproscopic surgery to remove endo & clear tube.  If that doesn't help then move to IVF. 
    Dec 2014 - Saw new RE - does not recommend surgery on tube as it isn't likely to help.  Doubts I have endometriosis.  My endometrioma shrunk to neglible size (yay!) 
    Seriously considering IVF in March/April
    12/17/14 - Natural BFP!

    I've done 2 IVF cycles ( I'll be 36 tomorrow!) so I know what your going through. FX to you! Good luck!

    @shadiddynyc‌ cycle 1: Retrieved 6, 5 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 abnormal, one transferred = BFN

    Cycle 2: retrieved 5, 5 mature (which I doubt), 5 fertilized, at least 3 abnormal, transferred 2= Chemical Pregnancy

    Thanks for the well wishes. They got 20 eggs & they'll be calling with my fert report today, by 3 p.m. I said a nice prayer for my eggs, as all things or possible through God almighty.

    Welcome and good luck!
    Me: +35 DH: +35
    TTC: Since January 2013 
    DX: PCOS. Severe Endometriosis, Unicornuate Uterus w/only left tube and left ovary, Pedunculated fibroid (on the outside of uterus) and Anovulation. All conditions diagnosed 8/13
    TX: Metformin
    DH DX: MFI - low morphology, low motility
    Ultrasound shows both kidneys in spite of UU. 
    HSG showed clear tube on the left side. 
    Lap Surgery performed 1/9/14 to remove fibroid and endo (Stage 3)
    • IUI# 1 June 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 13: BFN
    • IUI#2  July 2014 started 100 mg of Clomid - 7dpiui Progesterone: 5.75: BFN
    • Natural Cycle - so shocked to be in 2WW - 7dpo Progesterone: 15.5: BFN
    • Working with new RE starting injectables in late August.
    • IUI #3 August 2014  w/ Menopur: BFN
    • Finally ovulating on my own!!
    Waiting to start IVF hopefully

    Thanks @Davie813‌. As of today 8 fertilized & has continued to grow since Fri. I've been told by my RE & nurse that they all are looking good. Sunday I had two stragglers but they caught up & all are currently 8 cells. My et is scheduled for Wednesday, 12:45.

    @Sunshinelady15‌ I have tried acupuncture many yrs ago but not for infertility. It is a little late for me now as I'm currently at work & would not have time to do it before my appt tomorrow.. If this cycle didn't work, I will definitely try it for the next one. Congrats on your bfp, that is great news for the holiday. I moved from NYC in April & have since been living in PA. I have no problem supporting you. H&H 9 months.

    I was thinking about transferring two, although the thought of twins keep playing in my mind. I'm just looking for the best possible results. As of day 3, my 8 embryos were all looking good as well. I get the report of how they're doing from day 3 to day 5 this morning.They leave them undisturbed on day 4, said it's a crucial time for them. If my dh is ok with transferring 2, I will probably transfer 2. I'll let you know what we decided a little later. I'll do a Google search on clinics by me & try to check one out sometime this week.
