1. Right now DH makes more but in a couple of months I will be making quite a bit more.
2. We are headed to NYC to spend Thanksgiving with my inlaws. My parents are also coming along and my sister, bil and two cousins are taking the train from DC to join us. In other words there will be more of my side of the family at my husband's parents house than their family!
3. how do you keep a 1.5 yr old occupied long enough to cook dinner. ideas/quesitons around keeping your marriage happy and alive, favorite organization tip, must have piece of clothing or shoes, go to weekday dinner or meal
The 4 of us are eating thanksgiving dinner at home. This is my ideal way to celebrate turkey day.
1. I make about 60% of what DH makes, but part of the difference is that he is a manager and I'm an individual contributor.
2. We are going to DH's aunt's house for Thanksgiving; DH's mom's side of the family will be there. (We rotate years between each of our families.) We're going to have Thanksgiving with my parents and sister on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
3. I like a lot of PP's ideas, especially must haves, fave college class, and throwback questions. (Have we done 'location of your first kiss?'). You could also do favorite meal to make, favorite family activity, and how did you pick your LOs name(s)?
2. Home, just the four of us. DIY remodeling our kitchen right now and I was hoping not to cook but DS is really pumped about it this year so I may have to plan a small scale turkey dinner. DH works the day before and the day after so no time to travel.

2. My MIL's house in San Diego. Can't wait for some warmer weather. It has been crazy cold for us - like January temps.

DH makes 6% more in salary. My bonus is typically 2-3 times his, but mostly in deferred compensation (90% deferred cash/stock, 10% up front cash). He gets cash and deferred stock - 50/50 split.
2. Where are you having Thanksgiving dinner? We are staying home. ILs live 5 hours away, but with Thanksgiving traffic it's more like 10, and the traffic starts on Monday. My family is local, but have decided to go out to eat this year right in the middle of DD2's nap. She is a miserable kid when she doesn't nap. So we're staying home.
3. Give me some questions to ask in the future... How many different locations (cities/States/countries) have you lived? How long have you been out of school, and how many jobs have you had?
2. Thanksgiving breakfast at my aunts and thanksgiving dinner at his moms.
1. We make about the same.
2. We are going to my aunt and uncle's house. They live about an hour away. My parents will be there along with my grandma, 3 sets of aunts and uncles, cousins, and my cousins' kids. Super excited!
2. With DH's dad and stepmom. Looking forward to the weekend as a whole but the actual meal will be at stepmom's sister's place. Not cool. So much tension and least child-friendly house on the planet. We'll be there the minimum possible amount of time before booking it back to his dad's place.

2. SIL is hosting. It's going to be us and about 40 other people. It'll be in the middle of the day and I'll have to follow DD like a hawk to make sure she doesn't eat anything she's allergic to. Dreading it.

2. headed to my family this year. We switch off every year. Start the day with breakfast at my dad's (my favorite part of the day), then to my aunt's for 2 hours, then to my aunt's on my mom's side for the big dinner. There are normally 40-50 people as I have a large immediate family and it is a ton of fun
3. recipes, ideas for date night
1. I make slightly more, but my job isn't as stable as his. Plus he carries our health insurance.
2. We will be celebrating at at least 3 places. MIL's for breakfast, FIL's around lunch time, then with my mom, brother and his girlfriend around dinner time. Last year we had 5 places. That was less than ideal given that I was 8.5 months pregnant and ended up giving birth less than a week later!

1. We make about the same base pay; however MH is active duty in the AF and so he also gets a housing allowance, food allowance and special pay for his job. These allowances make his salary much higher than mine.
2. We're doing it at our house, MIL and SIL will come over (from 5 hours away). I have to work on Friday so we weren't able to travel. DH likes to fry a turkey.
3. What career did you imagine yourself doing as a child? What are you currently doing?
2. At home, just us. My sister is hosting our family & her ILs, but we're too leary of taking our bright, shiny new wee one out anywhere just yet.
3. I don't have any other ideas, but there have been some great ones mentioned!

2. Inlaws house - they are 80 so we rent out the apt complex community room and every brings something.

2. Where are you having Thanksgiving dinner? At my in-laws' house this year. We hosted my family the last two years, so I'm kind of looking forward to not having to cook.
