I said I would intro here after a month or so of lurking if I got another negative result, and the call came in today from my RE...so here I am.... and needing the support!

A little about my history... I was a late bloomer who was never regular in high school, and just attributed it to being super busy with sports and having a low body fat percentage, until I had an ovarian cyst rupture when I was 18 and had emergency surgery my first month in college... I was then put on BC and got on and off it due to irregular cycles for 9 years until last November, when DH and I decided it was time to officially get off the pill. After 6 months of no periods, I went to my OBGYN for advice and treatment. She diagnosed me with PCOS after blood work and an ultrasound and prescribed me Metformin to see if it regulated things. After 3 months of nothing, I got antsy and asked her to start Clomid. Nothing on 50mg, but a late ovulation on 100mg that I missed the FW. (This was all before I had discovered TB and how pro-temping everyone is here!) I also felt that she was too hard to get in touch with regarding my lab results and felt like she probably wasn't the best type of doctor to direct my care, so I started going to a RE in late October that my best friend had success with recently. She got the ball rolling rather quickly after all the normal labs/US and prescribed femera, ovidrel trigger, and TI for my first cycle... So here I am today after my first negative BETA, totally heart broken, and trying to be optimistic about next cycle... 

The plan now is to do another round of femera, and get an HSG to see if anything is wrong. I feel both emotionally and financially drained and its only been 1 cycle with the RE! How do you ladies get through this without becoming alcoholics? or going completely broke?

Oct/Nov 2014: 1st appt with RE, Femera 7.5mg + Trigger + TI = BFN
Nov/Dec 2014: HSG(all clear), Femera 7.5mg + Trigger + TI = BFP!! EDD 8/29/15
Beta #1 = 755
Beta #2 = 1208

    Yes, definitely will... and the first question to my RE next time I see her will be why I didn't have one ordered in the first place!

    Ditto to the HSG, glad you are planning on that for the next step. Did your RE monitor you on the Femara to see how you responded? I hope your stay here is short, good luck!!

    Me: 27 DH: 35

    TTC #1 Since July 2013

    Started RE Testing July 2014

    2 HSG tests: Right tube is blocked, possible endo.

    TSH elevated, started Synthroid 25 mg daily.

    October, 2014: Femara 5 mg + TI ---> 3 follies on blocked tube side ---> BFN

    November, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI#1--2 follies (on the good side), 46 mil. motile sperm=BFN

    Nov-Dec 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #2 (1 follie, 76 mil. motile sperm) + Endometrin=BFN

    January, 2014: Femara + Ovidrel + IUI #3 (1 follie, 38 mil. motile sperm)=???

    New RE appt. scheduled for 1/14.

    I totally hear that.  I actually thought I was going to lose it during the testing.

    Hopefully this won't be a long road for you :-)

    TI Clomid Cycle - October 2014 - no response to 50mg, started 100mg - 1 mature follie; BFN 11/12/14
    IUI Clomid Cycle - Canceled 12/2/14, no response to 100mg
    IUI Letrozole Cycle - Started meds 12/23/14

    Yes, she did - had a US on CD11 with 2 follies that were maturing at 15mm and 16mm, which is when we decided together to do the trigger since I've never gotten a positive OPK for some reason.

    I'm very sorry you find yourself here, and for your BFN.  All the wine for you!  

    However, welcome.  In answer to your questions, these ladies are a large part of how I manage to stay sane during all this.  I hope your stay with us is short and wish you the best of luck!
    Me: 31 (PCOS) possible right tube issues DH: 36 (SA normal) 
    Started dating in 2006, Married 2012 
    TTC since November 2013 
    First RE visit due to irregular periods: June 2014
    Lap/Hysto to remove polyps, cyst and tube blockage 11/6
    Cycle 1 (Dec. 2014) TI with Clomid, Trigger, & Progesterone CX due to no response
    Impatiently Waiting CD1 to try again with Fermara Back on the bench due to giant cyst,
    who know I'd ovulate on my own after a cancelled cycle and end up with a mega cyst :(

    Welcome. Sorry I am a bit late to join in. I agree with PP. Request that SA if you haven't yet. Also as for how to stay sane during all this. Stay busy. I volunteer a lot, am a full time student, work part time, and craft... a lot! This board also helps a ton!! Hope your stay is short and sweet!

    Husband: 26 SA: normal
    Me: 23 Low AMH and damaged ovaries due to chemotherapy.
    No AF or O in 3 years. HSG showed a slight T shaped uterus.

    High Risk OB 9/29- got the ok to get pregnant.
    RE Appt:  10/28/ U/S showed follicles, but also small damaged ovaries.
    B/W results CD0: all normal except low AMH at 1.3
    Cycle 1-November (TI)- Femera 2.5mg, 2mg Estradoil, and Trigger=BFN
    Cycle 2-December (TI)- Femera 2.5 mg ,4mg Estradoil, and Trigger= No O
    Cycle 3-January (TI)- Femera 5 mg, 2mg Estra    doil, and Trigger=
