  Boiling water is only 212 degrees, bottle parts stand up to that fine.

  I've been boiling the bottles and nipples. Being water to boil and put bottles/nipples/parts in to boil for 5-7 minutes (with flame on). Nothing melts

  I use the Medela sterilize bags or my bottle sterilizer that goes in microwave

  I boiled everything first just to be safe, no melting. For subsequent uses I'll use the sanitize setting on our dishwasher.

  I use the the Medela bags for pump parts, bottles, pacifiers etc. just throw it all in and done in 3 minutes!

  I use my microwave sterilizer. They really aren't expensive and worth every penny. I sterilize things when I first get them and then I do periodic sterilizations after that. I don't think my dishwasher has a sterilization mode so no dice there

  I hate the steam bags. We boil and it's super easy.

  I have been using the medela steam bags. I tried boiling the pieces a couple of times and found it just easier to use the steam bags.
