  About once a month or so? We live in the city, so don't drive much, and usually we wind up filling it up to go somewhere like visiting my ILs, etc.

  DH and I carpool to work most days, so it's usually once every 2 weeks, sometimes 3.

  Round trip work commute for me is almost 2 hours. H's round trip commute is an hour. Each car gets filled up every week to every week and a half.

  Husband deals with that. Our old gas cap fell and shattered. The replacement one is a pain in the ars and so he is force to fill up the tank.

  DH and I share a car. For my driving we probably fill it twice a month. Sometimes DH drive sit to work clients and that increases how much gas we use.

  SS. Our electric car doesn't take any gas. Nissan Leaf. Love that car so much. We have spent $94 in service over the past 18 months, which was basically just some inspections. We spend about $30 a month in electricity, which covers us for about 1,400kms a month (870miles) on heavy months.
  
  We do have a gas vehicle (a Rogue), it gets filled about 2 times per month.
