With my first 4 years ago, I had a csection but wasn't driving so I don't remember (or if I was even told...)
How long after a csection can you drive?
MIL and daughter are coming out about 2 weeks after, we won't all be able to fit in one car for little outtings but we do have 2 cars. Just curious if I'll be well enough to drive myself or if she will be taking my car.
Re: Driving after csection?
I actually needed a lot of rides that first week since my son needed to go to the hospital twice for bilirubin tests (jaundice) and lactation consultant appts since he wasn't latching well.
I agree with needing to be out the first week. I had three or four days for bilirubin, a weight gain check, going to the ER. You never know why you may need to go out.

Ultimately it was part of my discharge orders not to drive for 2 weeks. I think if I went against that and the insurance found out, they might not have to pay?
