Doesn't like jumperoo?

I had researched and researched and was probably overexcited for this jumperoo. Little guy is 6 1/2 months and thought it would be great, and...he's either having an off day or not feeling it. Is he just too old or do we need to try a little more before giving up? If I have to return NBD, it just looks so fun!

Baby boy loved his jumper from about 4 months to 6 months, then he learned how to crawl. Now he doesn't want to be contained in anything, he prefers being able to roam.
Does your LO crawl yet, or is he getting ready to?

He is starting to scoot and likes to be very active. He also loves to stand (assisted) and jump, so maybe we just bought too late. He's in daycare 1-2 days per week and they have an exersaucer and he Loves it so I'm surprised...
  • I don't use it that much I let lo roll about on the floor instead, my partner puts him in there he's ok but gets bored of it easily
  • I think it's something they have to get used to.. I would give it a few more times before you give up
  • Agree with others on giving it some time. The same thing happened when we bought the exersaucer and door jumper- now she loves both.
  • My son has never been a huge fan, we bought it when he was 4 months he's only done max of 20 minutes a day in it, he's becoming less interested now at 7 months. I'm happy we only spent $7 on it seeing as it doesn't get the amount of use we had hoped it would.
  • Thanks, all!
