  Maybe put the pad under te crib sheet so it can't move around,flip etc. I put a rolled towel under sheet for transistion

  No that doesn't sound safe? I feel like I've read a ton of posts from you wanting to transition your LO from the rock n play. I can't imagine you need to yet.

  I feel like the sheet is already so tight that it would be hard to do. I haven't tried yet though. Did you have a problem fitting a towel under there?

  I wouldnt say a ton of posts maybe one but I want to make the transition sooner than later since she is 3 mos. We waited longer with my son and had difficulty so I am trying to be more proactive this time.

  If she isn't ready to sleep in her crib that's fine but I honestly wouldn't put a changing pad in there. That sounds unsafe. I don't like to borrow trouble so I would wait longer to transition.

  I would think the risk of a changing pad in the crib would be similar to the risk of a Nap Nanny in a crib, and those were totally recalled bc people kept putting them in the crib and several babies were seriously injured. I wouldn't do it.

  good point. I guess I only thought about it bc the changing pad cover is fitted tight like a sheet and it reminded me of a smaller mattress.

  I'd start trying the crib and see how it goes.  Part of the transition is moving away from the "squished in" feeling.
  
  I would NOT use the changing pad in the crib-- it isn't designed for sleeping,and the cover on mine is no where as tighly fitting as the crib sheet is on the crib.
  
  Try it and see how it goes-- my LO went straight from the pack-n-play to the crib around 3 or 4 months.  We started with naps in the crib, then went to all the time.

  When I transitioned DD at 4 months I used a Halo swaddle sack - have you tried this?  I was so worried DD wouldn't sleep because she wasn't cradled by the bassinet but with the swaddle sack wrapped tightly she slept for almost 6 hours straight the first night.
