Bottle/feeding issue

My LO was taking bottles well until his 2 month shots (he is 11 weeks now), then he started refusing them. He now will take a bottle but only from me were before he would let anyone feed him (I'm EPing) That is just fine for now but I go back to work in a few weeks and am worried he will not eat while I'm gone. We (Grammy, DH and I) have tried everything we can think of a including having me leave the house. Anyone here had this happen to them in the past? If so was it ever resolved and how?

    No experience, but just keep trying. He will take a bottle eventually.

    What type of bottle are you using? We had problems with this too until we bought a Playtex ventaire bottle. The nipple is more like the breast so it has helped LO transition. Maybe try a different bottle

    We are using those and Tommie tippee bottles. He takes the bottles just fine for me but will not let anyone else give it to him... Very frustrating! I guess it's his way of controlling something in his life right now!

    Hello! I use Dr. Brown's Natural Feeling bottles after trying and failing with several other brands. The teat is great and it has an anti colic system that works well. The only negative is that the teats have a slower flow than other brands do you sometimes have to go up a size to stop baby getting frustrated!

    This happened to us for awhile too. I EP and DH could not get DD to finish a bottle. He just kept trying and she is better now. Also I realized that I sort of bounce when I give her the bottle so DH tries to mimic me.

    We had some struggles around the 2month mark. We ended up moving up to the level 2 nipple and that helped significantly. Although it seems your lo is taking it fine from you... I guess you just have to keep working other people giving the bottle. Good luck!

    I second moving up nipples. I EBF but we try to give LO bottles to get him ready for daycare. Around 2 month mall he started refusing bottles also. We moved up nipples and now have no problems.
