DD is 6 weeks old and we are having issues with this. She gets a witching hour period until around 10:30 or 11 so even though we try to calm her and get her to bed earlier, it hasn't been working.
LO is 4 weeks old, I am trying to keep bedtime between 9-9:30. Hopefully we settle into more of a routine for nighttime sleep as I go back to work at 6 weeks.
Ok good to know that I am not the only one who has a time that there is nothing to do to soothe him. We do try to put him down at the same time every night as well. Between 8:30 and 9:30.
LO is 5 weeks today. We go to bed after his last feeding of the day - which usually takes place from 930 - 1030pm or 10 - 11pm. That's our normal bedtime so it really hasn't changed since LO arrived. He will typically sleep until 330 or 4am, and then again until 8ish.
He doesn't have a real "bedtime" per se; if he wants his last feeding at midnight we will do it then.
5 cycles of "TTC" - 3 intentional, 2 not so intentional. 5 BFPs. My rainbow arrived 10/15/14. TFMC 08.02.13 at 19+ weeks. Everyday I grieve for my little Olive.
Usually we put her in her RNP at like 11 for good, but it depends on when she stops screaming for the night. It varies. we'll have to get more of a routine going before I go back to work in January.
Since I'm EPing I don't have a set schedule which sucks balls. Usually I have to pump between 11-12 at night so DD will sleep on the couch in the living room with me until after I pump. Usually She wakes up to eat then we get to bed around 12 or 1. Then I'm up between 3-4 feeding her and pumping again. :-< So exhausting, and makes me want to switch to FF more every time.
DS is 7.5 weeks and he's just starting to stop fussing as much in the evenings (knock on wood). We usually go upstairs sometime between 8 and 9, depending on when he woke up from his last nap. Right now we're in my bed with the lights low and he's nursing to sleep.

DD will be 7 weeks tomorrow and she falls asleep between 9:30-10pm. This is the scheduled I was on with DD1 and she just kind of folded right into our routine. We go upstairs and get things started around 9, sometimes earlier when it's bath night. She's definitely a unicorn baby though.
So LO doesn't go to sleep until 12:30. I want her to go down at 10 but it seems as if it doesn't matter when we start the bedtime routine she will cluster feed until then. We have another month and a half to figure this out though.
My baby is 3.5 weeks old. We start to turn the lights down and lower voices around 9pm. That's also when the baby goes down for a longer sleep, usually until around midnight. He tries to sleep longer, but I semi-rouse him in order to do another feed. Then he goes back to sleep around 1am-ish.
My little dude is sort of a night owl. He is usually not down for the night until 11-1 ish depending on the night. This could partly be our fault but he likes to be held and look all around at 8 ish then DH usually likes to just hold him for a while (since he's gone all day at work he likes to hold DS as much as possible) DS sleeps best from 3-10 am.
DD is just shy of 6 weeks. At 2 weeks we started a routine of getting her ready for bed by 8PM. we may start earlier around 7-7:30 if I see she is getting sleepy. By the time we get her ready for bed, fed and calmed down she is usually in bed by 9-9:30 unless it is a bad night. I think she gets the day/night thing. When she wakes in the middle of the night she eats/gets changed/rocked and she is right back down. About 7AM-8AM she is wide awake and awake alot more during the day. I needed some kind of structure and schedule to help me ease bed time anxiety.
Out of curiosity...if you try to have a "bed time" but LO is being difficult to put down or not showing signs of being tired, do you still try the routine?
Our LO has been going to "bed" around midnight. Her most alert period had been between 9 and midnight, which I hate because I am tired! So tonight we tried starting the bed time routine at 8 and are trying to get her to sleep in her nursery (so we can watch on the monitor) for the first stint of the evening then will move her to our room whenever she wakes up.
Assuming she falls asleep...right now she is wide awake in her crib. We are going on a better part of an hour of taking turns going up there to soothe her.
I am hoping if we consistently do this for a few nights she will adjust to the early bed time...
Usually DH gives DS a bath around 8 and he gets one more feeding and will go to sleep around 9 or 9:30. On good nights he'll sleep until 4:30 but typically gets up around 3 for a quick feed and then back to bed until 6:30 or 7.
@angeltennis3 changing DD to an earlier bedtime is at least not working for us. We have tried getting her prepared to sleep around 7:30 the past few nights and not been able to get her to sleep until after 10 or closer to 11. Two of the nights, she cried for most of the time and yesterday, she didn't cry unless hungry, but still wouldn't sleep. Long story short, I got nothing for you.
I haven't really tried a sleep schedule yet. My son is 3.5 weeks and might fall asleep at like 7 for 20 mins then again around midnight.. Sleeps til 3 or 4.. Then 6-7, then til 9-10 am. He just had a growth spurt so that was pretty hellish so idk maybe he'll sleep a little better.
six weeks adjusted here.. we take the twins upstairs at 8:30/9pm and give them their bottles, then we swaddle them and put them in their cribs. if it's a bath night, we do bath, bottles, then swaddles and crib. They wake up between 12 and 1am and we give them another bottle, and then they sleep until 5am when we wake them up (so I can get ready for work), another bottle, and they sleep until 8am when they seem to be up for the day.

I have been wondering this too. I have been putting SD to sleep at 10 but she hadn't been going down until 12:30-1:30. This last week I've been starting the process closer to 8:30-9. The first few nights she went to sleep at the same time if not later. Two nights ago she fell asleep at 11:30 and slept until 3. Last night she fell asleep around 11 but was up again around 12:30 and woke up more frequently throughout the night. Would ideally like her asleep by 9:30 so gonna just keep trying.
6 weeks tomorrow, he has a feeding at 7, and then again at 10, but he sleeps between the 2. So right now I move to the bedroom and "put him to bed" in his bassinet at the 10 feeding, but I really should move that to the 7. I just find 7 tough with the older 2 kids wanting attention.
Re: Bedtime
But in all seriousness we try to keep it around the same time each night which for us is about 8:00
