We are still finalizing a list of baby names, and most likely won't decide until she's born. A name that we both love is Clara. My husband vetoes everything so finding a girl name we both love is like a Hallelujah moment for us. Our angel baby's name is Claire, and we would love to honor her, but are Claire and Clara way too close? Would it be weird? We both also love Cara/Kara. Maybe that's a better option? Be honest with me, I can take it. I just want us to both love the name we pick out, and I don't want our daughter to hate her name either. I've said it before, but naming a child is freaking hard!
Re: I need your opinions
Is Clara pronounced Cah-lara or Claire-ah? If you have your angel baby Claire honored somehow whether friends and family know her name or maybe a memento with her name on it then Clara pronounced Claire-ah is too close IMO. If not, then go for it. Cara spelled Cara is also a very nice option.

I love both names.
Points to consider though:
1) Are you/DH ok with constantly explaining where the name came from? People tend to ask.
2) How do you think she will feel later on knowing the origin of her name? If your mom suddenly told you that you were named after another baby who passed, would you think that was neat or would you be creeped out?
Pick whatever name you/DH love.
