If you went into labor naturally one or both times, was your second baby born earlier or later than your first (by gestational age)?

41 + 2 then 41 on the nose. The first time they were never able to strip my membranes the second time they were but just barely. My midwife said they tend to cluster around the same gestational age.

My 2nd was born 2 weeks later than my 1st. Imagine my disappointment. Err, shock.

Went into labor with both, but I was given drugs with both so that I would progress.

That's so interesting! Sometimes I think I'd love to be a midwife then remember I'd hate to deliver babies all the time.

DD#1 was 1 day early. DD#2 was 8 days early. DD#3 was 10 days late. The last one threw me for a loop. I was certain I was on the trend of having them earlier and earlier. Nope.

Mine were 10 days early and 15 days early. #3 better be early or I will be going crazy! My mom delivered me at 36 weeks, so they checked her at 36 weeks with my brother and she was already 6 cm dilated, so her OB had her check into the hospital and broke her water, he was born 45 minutes later! Because of her experience I always expected mine to be somewhat early as well.

Mine were born at the same gestational age. My labor & delivery went much faster & easier the second time around, though.

D was born at what we thought was 5 weeks early. (I had a m/c the cycle before he was conceived and wasn't temping. So there was some confusion on my dates.) The pedi thought he was really only two weeks early.

G was born at 39 weeks on the dot. At my 36 week appt. my OB did the GBS test, and did a check. I was already 2 cm and 75%. She thought I'd deliver by 37 weeks. I did so much darn walking and yoga ball bouncing, and he still waited till 39 weeks to come.

Even BM asks me every few days if you've had Katniss yet (she doesn't use her name though lol). Disclaimer that she might be most excited for the name, cuz she loves your daughter's name, and is slightly babyname obsessed.

All three of mine were born around 36 weeks (2nd at 35w6d was earliest, 3rd at 36w4d was latest) all weighed between 5lb14oz and 6lb0oz and all were 19inches long......all born early due to PPROM.
