Kicking rocks and pouting!

Hi ladies! Its been a while since I have been on. Had a rough year as far as pregnancies go. My hubby and I are trying for number 3, have been for about 18 months. My periods are on the nose 28 days every month. I dont temp, but I keep track with some silly app that im sure was designed for teenagers. This month I tossed the OPK's, didnt think about TTC (as much as I could keep it out of my head), and just relaxed. Yesterday I realized I was 4 days late! I almost skipped to the store and bought a 2 pack of FRERs. I was so sure!! I have not ever waited til missed AF to test! I was going to see a dark line! BFN. Thinking surely the test was defective, I immediately wasted the second test. Nothing. Anyway, still no AF. No PMS, no anything. Im so frustrated I don't even feel like squeezing my boobs to see if they hurt. Just wanted to get that out since Im childishly grouchy and fed up. Lol. Sorry for the rant, yall are good listeners!

       Since my youngest was born 4 years ago I have had 28 day cycles. Im not sure when I ovulate during those cycles, or how long my luteal phase is, etc. I know there are a lot of possible reasons why I don't have AF right now, but I was really hoping this was my month.

    Hey Whitney. I have been on the bump off and on for a long time. I get it, really. You get caught up in trying to make your buddies laugh at the expense of other people. Sometimes it is warranted, but you are all over these posts. You quoted someone wishing me well on MY thread and told them to GTFO? Why don't you take your own advice. I want her here,  you contributed nothing to this post.

    Well, since you've been around a long time I assume you know that anyone can post anywhere at any time.  @14whitney is free to tell anyone to GTFO.

         Blah. I just didn't want to be seen as someone thats here listing TWW symptoms or butchering English. I know I need to start temping.  This cycle was the last "old fashioned" try. 
       I understand temping, and I understand that I either ovulated late or not at all. I have 2 children from a previous marriage that my husband adopted. Since he and I have been trying we have lost 3 pregnancies. With the boys I was just young and dumb and got to happily announce I was pregnant without the slightest stress or math or use of a thermometer. 
      I don't belong in trouble TTC, because I do not put myself in the same category of those women who have been to hell and back. Im whining, they are warriors.  I think BOTB apt, because babies are definitely on my brain.

    I didn't dictate anything, and it is "my" post, I wrote it. I never claimed to own the site.  Thanks though, for all the great comments and advice. I remember a few years ago when I was on here and the "Memo" group? It was a bunch of women that had enough time to even post a "secrets" page where they made memes about other women. (It might still be here, who knows)  A girl from high school accidentally let it out on Facebook that she was one of them. Everything she posted here was a lie, shes a complete loser. She does have an uncanny ability to be rude to strangers and correct grammar though. (Although she is a total ass kisser in person, which makes sense). 
       I have lost 3 babies this year. I was excited at the prospect of being pregnant and trying again to carry one to term. Have a great day.

       Thank you. I do need to start temping.  I am definitely behind the ball on that. Since one pregnancy was considered chemical our doc said that everything could still be normal. He did say that if there if it does happen again, he is going to send us to the RE. Since I have 2 children with no complications he is not concerned, yet. My progesterone was ok with the losses, which is one thing that he said he could treat had there been an issue. 
      I still dont have AF, but I am PMS'ing now. I am making an appointment to see the MD. I don't want to lose another pregnancy before we get sent to a specialist. I appreciate the response.

    Hi op I think the advice to see your dr due to the 3 loses is good. I would step it up and go see an re. I would also talk to your dr about what a good progesterone level means to him/her. The odd and unfunny thing about cycles is that they are normal until they are not.

    OP, the advice to start temping, and I'd also suggest reading "taking charge of your fertility," as well. Also, talk to your doctor again as you've had 3 losses in 18 months. Most doctors would be having you, and possibly YH, have specific testing at this point to see if there is an issue.
    OP - I am the biggest fan in the world of temping and charting but I totally agree that after 18 mos and three losses, you NEED to see an RE. Skip the OB (as ong as your insurance allows it) and get some testing done. Three losses or over a year TTC (even w/o charting) meet the criteria for infertility, as sucky as it is, and you need to see what's going on. It's possible you have something "simple" to correct like a clotting disorder or a uterine fibroid or low progesterone that's causing the recurrent MC but either way you need to find out what's going on before you continue to TTC.

    Also, as long as you're not a moron and you are aware of your posts about your two LOs, T-TTC is a great board and you will learn a lot from them.
