Well hello ladies! I was hoping that I was going to have a baby in my arms by this check-in but I think Ellie has other plans. Today is my EDD and I don't think labor is in sight! I have always feared that she would decide to make her appearance on my birthday (Friday), which I don't want, and I think more and more that is what she is waiting on. Oh well it would be the best 30th birthday present I could ask for.

I have a OB appointment today and I am hoping she will sweep my membranes again and hopefully this time it will work. I am so ready to have this baby. Come on little girl it is time to meet the world! (plus mommy is tired of fielding tons of texts!)

QOTW: I am set and ready to go... I have a list of the last minute things to grab and put in the labor bag and everything is ready to go! My patience is wearing VERY thin.. not that I ever had a whole lot of patience before.

How far along are you? Almost 38 weeks.

Upcoming appointments? Monday weekly appointment for NST.

Any updates to share? This past Monday's NST showed contractions. Yesterday I had so much lower back pain it made me puke. OB says it's the LO getting into position.

How are you feeling? At this point, just doing everything and anything I can to keep myself comfortable. Living between my bed with a heating pad, and the bath tub!

QOTW: I'm totally ready. Sometimes at night I sit in her room and it just makes me excited for her to be here!

@ashris13 -- I have been stalking the boards hoping to see a birth announcement from you! Hang in there! Ellie will be here before you know it. (I know that is easier said than done -- this waiting at the end SUCKS)

How far along are you? 38w4d

Upcoming appointments? Next weekly OB appointment is Monday afternoon.

Any updates to share? This week's appointment went well. Baby is still very low and head down. My cervix is softening and thinning but still not dilating. The OB has offered for us to set an induction on 12/1 if she hasn't arrived by then. My in laws are OBs and we have discussed it with them and they are on board with the idea. I think we are going to do it. The OB basically said that with high risk or IF patients he likes to offer it since we tend to find some comfort in knowing that the doctor who has been so involved in our case the whole time will be able to be there to deliver us. And since we KNOW when she was conceived so we are not worried about her due date being off by weeks (which apparently happens a lot with fertiles) we know she will be a full 40 weeks by then. So, it looks like we at least have an end date which makes me both excited and scared to death!

How are you feeling? I am huge and feeling everything that comes with that -- backaches, exhaustion, etc. But I am making it. Only one more week of work!

QOTW: I'm ready. I am like @ashris13, my bags are packed I just have a small list of a few last minute things to throw in there. We put the car seats in the car and driving around with a car seat has made it totally real!

Upcoming appointments? I have my 34 wk appointment this Friday. My OB said she will decided then is she wants to start seeing me once a week, but she’s so chill I imagine we’ll keep it at every other week until December.

Any updates to share? This past weekend was my baby shower in my hometown. We had a lot of people show up and between this shower and my philly shower we have everything we need. This weekend DH and I will go to pick up the last few small items we want to have before the baby comes, but for the most part we are all set.

How are you feeling? I’m feeling MUCH better now that the infection is gone

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority? DH and I are prepped and ready to go! The nursery is 99% done, and we have 2 more birthing classes. All we have to do is pack our bags and wait!

@ttuprincess‌ you are too sweet looking for an announcement! Hopefully soon! Driving around with the car seat is very surreal, I have one of those covers on it and I am always a little worried when I'm in stores that people will think I left my baby in the car and break my windows. It's an odd thought but it does cross my mind.

that is really exciting you have a date!! I think my date will be the 30th, if she does not come by then I will ask to be induced.

Any updates to share? So the floor guy came and he'll start on Thanksgiving weekend .. knew it would take a miracle for it to be done sooner than that but at least now we have a date!

How are you feeling? I'm good but tired. Been doing lots of OT for Comp time so that when I go on maternity leave, I can get paid for it lol!

QOTW: I have a TON of things to do! From starting to pack a bag to finishing up the nursery to interviewing pedetricians. Biggest priority right now is actually finding something to wear to the shower! I can't believe I completely forgot that I'd have to buy something since nothing fits! Oh, did I mention that the shower is on Saturday? Oh boy!

Update: I am 38w4d today - this will be my last check-in before this LO is here!! I can't believe it's so close, but I am so ready. I'm pretty uncomfortable, especially at night, and I have a cold that won't quit so that doesn't help! But the end is in sight!

QOTW: I'm as ready as I'll ever be. My bag is packed for the most part, just some last minute things to throw in there. We still have to install the car seat but it's sitting by the door ready to go. The nursery isn't complete but it's livable. I knew that would be the case though since I'd like to see whether this LO is a girl or boy before I complete it. Plus the baby will be in our room at first anyway.

Upcoming appointments? I had fluid monitoring and my last growth scan this morning, regular OB appt with NST this afternoon.

Any updates to share? Little guy is still breech and unlikely to flip at this point. i'm giving all of my turning efforts one more last shot this week, and starting Friday I'm going to start trying to get in a good mental place for my schedule c-section.

How are you feeling? I'm ok, but my fatigue is at war with my nesting. I would have liked to sleep longer this morning, but my bladder woke me at 4:45, and my nesting made me get up and start obsessively making to-do and to-buy lists.

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority? We're mostly ready. The pre-term labor scare we had two weeks ago kicked us into high gear! DH still has to build the pack n play and set up the monitor, among other, less important things.

@Ashris13 Thank you so much for the wonderful check-ins. I imagine this will be your last!

We are loving the new car! I am only taking it on small drives here and there, trying to get use to driving something bigger. I don't want to crash it :P

I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow! I was feeling good this morning and pretty much finished putting away all the stuff in the baby's room. Going to wait a few more weeks then complete our registry, still need a monitor and bed sheets! My sister in law had her baby last night, she was 5 weeks ahead of me. It made it real for hubby, he was talking about getting our bag ready for the hospital, so I guess that is something we will start working on

Other than that, only 2 exams left out of 13 this semester and my last day of work is Dec 22nd! Super excited to be off for the holidays. No school and no work is going to be wonderful!

Hey! I'd like to join, EDD Feb 3, team pink!

Currently 29 weeks along. Have biweekly appointments now. Plus I'm meeting with the anthesialogist cuz I had a c-section with DD. I'm trying for a VBAC this time, but there are risks involved so we want to be prepared just in case. I'm using midwives who are very supportive with my decision. Although I do have my OB consult next week, I will be getting the OB's opinion on whether I am a good candidate for a VBAC or not.

QOTW: I have so much to do to get ready! Mostly I want to get my house more organized and a few minor renovations done. Like putting the flooring in our bedroom down.

How far along are you? 32w1d

Upcoming appointments? Just had one this morning! Baby is head down, measuring right on track, weight gain is fine - 3 pounds in the last 2 weeks.

Any updates to share? We were supposed to have family photos last weekend, but the photographer had to cancel due to a family illness, so we're going to do them this Saturday. I'm very excited!

How are you feeling? Pretty good overall. I have had some Braxton Hicks, mostly in the evenings. I had a lot of them around 19-23 weeks, but then they tapered off but are now back. My hips and back get sore, but doing the exercises from my physical therapist and rocking on the yoga ball really helps.

QOTW: Almost! DH took Friday and Monday off this coming weekend to finalize some stuff around the house - yard work and cleaning mostly. He also suggested making a "bug out bag" this weekend, and has put his colleagues on notice who will need to be on call for him should he need to suddenly leave. For the baby, all that's left is finalizing the bookcase (need to nail on the top shelf, sand, and paint) and wall decorations.

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority? Just got the changing table/dresser so laundry is the next step...doing that sunday. Really excited to sort everything and pick the coming home outfit (I love laundry in general). Waiting on my rocking chair but that is not a big deal. Hospital bag is 99% packed!

I'm mostly ready to start maternity leave! Only 4 days of work left!!!

How far along are you? 29w5d

Upcoming appointments? I have my regular OB appointment on Friday. We also had a growth scan last week and she looked great! Everything looked normal and she was measuring approx 3lbs 6oz already. And she wasn't breech anymore, yay. I may just be able to have a VBAC if she decides to come by Jan 23rd.

Any updates to share? We went for a 3D/4D ultrasound with our families. So much fun and made all of us very excited to meet her!

How are you feeling? Great! I have no complaints. I really love being pregnant at this time of year. The holidays and the cooler weather make it even better.

QOTW: We only have a few things to buy, like a new infant seat (DH gave ours to a friend) and I need to pack my hospital bag. But otherwise we are ready.

How far along are you? 28w1d!

Upcoming appointments? Monday for doctor's apt.

Any updates to share? I was just discharged from the hospital after being in there for 11 days for preterm labor. I was having contractions and was dilated to 1cm & didn't know it. I'm so happy to be home now on bed rest until 32w (at least). My goal is to make it to 32w, so we are praying over here!

How are you feeling? I really feel great still. I'm still have contractions but they don't hurt. I've been sleeping great until last night. I have to take my meds at 2am so I couldn't fall back to sleep.

QOTW: I'd say we have a lot to do still. My last shower is this Sunday & I'm so excited I can actually go! However, if babies were to come we have all we really need. The nursery is just a mess.

Ahhh...hang in there @Ashris13‌! I can't even imagine your anticipation. Come on baby girl!

AFM, I'm 37 + 4 today....scheduled for induction next Sunday due to the GD and low papp-a. Our hardwood for our remodel is going in today. My contractor says we will be "very close" in terms of finishing on time. Fingers crossed!!! Here's a pic of our nursery

the wall color is changing and the rug hasn't been put down yet but you get the idea! We have a few etsy prints to hang. I'm currently training my pup to stay out of the room (you can see her sleeping in the back, this pic was taken last week), which is why the glider still is covered. If anyone has a bulldog, they'll know that they LOVE to be comfy...so she'd call the glider home unless I get ahead of it!

QOTW: I am washing all of baby's newborn and 0-3 clothing along with blankets, etc this weekend. After that, I think all the "must haves" will be done. Car seat base has been installed in my car. We will install the other one in DHs car this weekend!

@ashris13 - hang in there girl! I wish I could tell you that I had my membranes stripped today, but I didn't b/c I'm not dilated at all. So, at next week's appointment (I'll be at 40+1), we will do the ultrasound to make sure fluid is ok and a stress test. I haven't seen her since 20 weeks, so it will be nice to either see her on the U/S screen or in person (if I have her before then). I'm totally anticpating her to be a December baby. Good thing I'm not super uncomfortable....yet.

How far along are you? 39+1

Upcoming appointments? I had one today (see above) and the next one will be next Wednesday, when I'll be past my due date!

Any updates to share? I've had some contractions (cramping) and bowels are changing (TMI), so I thought I would be dilated a little bit, but nope.

How are you feeling? Ready, very emotional. Chalk up another point for my OB - she's seen me cry many times already.

How far along are you? 32 weeks

Upcoming appointments? Apt today went well, u/s- just looked at breathing, HR, and fluid level which were all great. No measurements this time; I was kind of disappointed because I was curious as to how much they weigh. OH- AND they are now BOTH breech! They are in a different position every time I go! Busy little bees I guess

Any updates to share? We have a date! Dec 30th scheduled C-sec, IF i make it that long (per my OB) which I really don't think I will being that I will be 38 weeks at that point. I guess now its just a waiting game...

How are you feeling? Pretty much the same other than BH getting more frequent and more uncomfortable, but still no cervical changes so I guess nothing is "productive" yet (which is good).

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority? We are pretty prepared, I think as prepared as first time parents of twins can be. The nursery isn't "done" as in a finished product yet but we aren't in too much of a hurry since they will be in our room for a while anyway. Just things to hang on the walls and get cribs painted. @ashris13 we did get the cribs, DH is working on sanding and painting.

We do need bedding for baby boy but thats not a necessity. Our maternity pictures turned out good, I've only seen a few of them Ill post one below

(if you cant tell DH HATES pics and looks like he is in physical pain, but these are actually some of the best pics we have together so Im happy!)

Upcoming appointments? Sonogram and monitoring next Wednesday

Any updates to share? I did not like the new doctor. She looked me up and down and asked if I ever considered Weight Watchers. Listen lady- IVF meds caused a huge weight gain and I was trying then got told I wouldnt excerise anymore. I was livid. She thinks my GD readings are too high and wants to but me on pills. I respect her opinion but my readings have been the same for 6 weeks and the other 5 doctors say I am fine since I am within range.

How are you feeling? Good for the most part. Waddling and not sleeping much but so excited and frankly anxious. Feeling super nervous about giving birth. I need to quit googling videos. Haha.

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority? Nursery needs a rug and mirror, car seats need to be installed, I need to wash bedding and clothes, and pack bags. This past weekend we had a building party. Hubby and his best friend put together the pack n play, travel system, bassinet, and bouncer. That felt like a hge relief.

How far along are you? 30+4

Upcoming appointments? Not until week 32 - just had my 30 week on Monday - all is good. We are meeting with the first pediatrician next week - so technically I guess that is an appt

Any updates to share? Mentioned the pelvic pain at my Monday appointment - OB said that is all normal and I should still stay active. It hasn't been as bad the last few days - but I have also been closer to 5k steps / day vs 7 - 10k steps. And it is very cold out so my motivation to be more active is pretty low.

Non-health updates - the nursery is painted! All walls are Iced Mint with the exception of one which is Creamy Beige. So now it is no longer the guest room.

How are you feeling? OK - pelvic pain was a little less past few days but today I have had some lower back aches. Going to try to sit on a balance ball more.

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority? Umm - no! Nursery is painted but we don't really have much else yet Furniture arrives end of Dec/early Jan, rug arrives mid-Dec, stroller and bassinet are on hold at the store so I will pick those up in early-mid-Dec. And we should be getting our carseat in Dec (gift from SIL & her hubby - they had a baby this summer and we got them the car seat so they wanted to get us the carseat - told her no rush - we want to install by end of Dec.

Other big item is ordering the washer/dryer, which we will do this weekend. Ours is on its last legs - when we bought this place we knew they were dying and while they still work, we figured we better get it now else Murphy's Law that it will break once the baby comes, in the middle of a snow storm, when DH is traveling! Plus we have noticed occasionally the washer leaves a small (rust?) mark on DH's white undershirts... so I am not even washing any of the baby's stuff until we get new ones!

And of course we have all the classes left... those start this weekend. But we have some time - though I know Jan will be here before we know it!

@dp21‌ thanks! My parents took the pics (they are photographers). My dad emailed 4 of them to me and I called my mom when I got them to ask if DH was smiling any bigger in the others. My dad said, "that was best I got, he looked like he was in even more pain in the others" lol

31+1 today! Not really feeling much better this week. I have yet another UTI and my legs and butt are killing me still by the end of the day. I have a prenatal massage waiting for me, I just don't have a day open that I can use it right now! Just had an ultrasound/ob appointment this morning (which will now be weekly until delivery) and the babies are doing great! I is estimated 3.15lbs and Q is estimated 3.14lbs!

QOTW: Is everything a sufficient answer? We're buying a house (closing next Wednesday)...so...we need to paint the nursery, get the cribs, recliner, and dresser delivered. We need closet organizers, hangers, etc. I still need to wash all of the clothes we received from our shower over a month ago. I'm probably forgetting something...but pretty much everything needs to be done.

Hi Ladies, 38+5 today and feeling so anxious, emotional, angry, you name it!

Midwife appointment tomorrow and I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that I don't go late. I've just about had it with being pregnant. I have no clue if I'm dilated or not, my midwives don't do any checks.. but I have been keeping up with the EPO and red raspberry leaf tea, so hopefully something is happening.

QOTW: I am totally prepped, but don't think I'll ever be "ready"! The nursery is still kind of in disarray. Just the basics for now since we are team green we figured we'd have plenty of time to decorate after baby is here.

I have an apt next Wednesday then I'll be going weekly going forward!

Any updates to share?
So I went for my ultrasound on Monday bc I was measuring ahead 3 weeks at my doctor apt last week. Apparently I have a large baby! Baby is weighing 6.9lbs already!! 89th percentile! They said the baby's belly was a little bigger than normal and said they want me to do a repeat glocuse test bc usually that's a sign of late onset gestional diabietes. They told me to watch my sugar and complex carbs intake. My doctors office however doesn't seem that concern and thinks I'll pass the test again and just thinks I'm having a larger baby. So I'm taking the glucose test agsin next Wednesday before my apt. Hope to pass and just slow down with the sweets and chocolate and everything will be fine! Now I really want this baby early if I'm on track for an 8 and a half lb baby!

How are you feeling?
Been feeling great but defintely starting to get uncomfortable now. Sleeping is impossible. My carpal tunnel issue in my right hand has also starred in my left also so now I have two braces on and they hurt so bad! Very hard to get things done when your hands are thtobbing in pain! My feet and ankles are now constantly swollen. And I started getting BH 3 days ago constantly so those are just uncomfortable. But still have my energy so just trying to plow through it all! Only 5 more weeks to go or less!

QOTW: Are you prepped and ready? or do you still have a ton of stuff to do, if so what is the biggest priority?

For the most part we are fairly ready. The nursery is pretty much done except decorations on the wall and all the clothes need to be put away and organized in drawers. Just finished washing all bibs burbies blankets sheets socks hats and all newborn clothes. Just need to wash 3 month clothes too. Everything has been put together and set up somewhere except the stroller yet. I'm getting a new car this weekend bc my lease is up then we'll get the bases installed. I do need to pack my bag yet and I would say that's defintely a priority! I'm also getting annoyed that my bassinet isn't in yet from pottery barn! I need that before baby gets here!

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow. I'll have a NST and cervix check.

Any updates to share? Tomorrow we'll probably talk about whether to schedule an induction before my due date due to my age. They've already told me that they would only let me go a couple days beyond my due date and they keep mentioning induction before my due date but when I ask about it they aren't committing to anything. So as of right now I'm still just waiting to see when I go into labor, which is my preference. But if they are going to induce me I'd kind of like to know sooner rather than later especially since it would probably happen over Thanksgiving weekend. Baby is really low today so hopefully he's prepping to make his entrance on his own. I just keep telling him to let me get through my baby shower on Sunday and hopefully have a nice Thanksgiving dinner as well and then he can come anytime.

How are you feeling? Ok, just still dealing with heartburn, increased pelvic pressure and swollen feet/ankles.

QOTW: I feel mostly ready. We still need to actually pack the hospital bags though. We have accumulated everything but haven't actually packed it yet. That's stressing me out a little.

Hey ladies!

I'm 29 weeks and 3 days with twin boys. My due date is Feb 3 but we will do a section at 37 weeks if we make it that far. I am out of the hospital and both babies are now doing awesome! They weigh 3.4 and 3.6 and their fluids are now both in the normal range. My cervix hasn't shortened anymore so home bedrest is working!

We have OB appointment tomorrow and I see MFM weekly now.

QOTW: nursery is getting close to done. After my hospital stay last week I am repacking it and will be more prepared this next time!

Clothes are washed, bassinet is ready, dresser is filled with clothes, diapers and wipes are all over. I need to wash the car seat insert and other add ons (snuggle me, car seat cover) and put them on. Need to throw the bases in our cars and then we'll be ready. Goodness .... 22 days left until our due date!

Appointment went well. Baby is looking good. Feet and hands are swollen so booo.

Nope we are not ready. Nothing set up or packed. We are starting to get things ready this weekend.

I enjoy reading everyone's update. I am 39 weeks and 5 days today. Up at 3am and can't sleep. I have a NST and amnio fluid check on Wednesday. I wish baby was moving more today.

QOTW: Ughh, I feel like there is still so much to do but we are ready with the main things if baby comes soon.

Piper Laine made her grand entrance on Nov 10 at 2:40 pm after 32 1/2 hours of labour. Totally in love, though my brain keeps waiting for life to return to normal so it still feels a little surreal. Good luck everyone!!!

Could I be added to 3rd tri? I'm currently 30 weeks, it's a girl our first. Edd is Feb. 2, 2015. I had a OB appointment yesterday, everything's looking good. I'm high risk due to chronic high blood pressure, anemia, and hypothyroidism. I start NST and BPP in 2 weeks, and OB appointments have been every other week for a while already. We had to increase my thyroid med a month ago, and had it rechecked yesterday, I'm hoping it's at a good level now
