What to buy my 9 year old niece.

The first week of December is her birthday. Then I have Christmas. Her mother is absolutely no help. I did buy her a few new shirts and hair accessories which she'll get for her birthday. I like to spend about another $25 with that then Christmas a total of $50. Apparently she's into mindcraft (?), American Girl dolls and still into Monster High.

They really don't have much so we're hoping to get her something special to make her birthday/Christmas. Shop for m please! The quicker it can get here for her birthday the better. I did see a commerical for some crafting kits and thought "what a great idea for Hannah!" Do you think I can remember what kind? Nope! Thanks for your help ladies!

That's what I was thinking. I saw something on TV for a kit but for the life of me I can't remember what kind nor the company. Epic fail. I've been trying to watch commericals to see if it comes up!

@MarisaKathleen I like the vanity idea. I knew MineCraft was big but what the heck is #2? hahaha

My 9 year old niece wants clothes. I am going to get her boot socks, infinity scarf, and maybe some Jamberry (BB&B, I need to get with you about this).

They have a ton of American Girl craft stuff at Michaels. There's always a good coupon or two floating around for there too.

I bet this is the last year dolls shows up on her list so I would probably go that way for Christams, as a mom of boys shopping at American Girl is a dream.

I knew that had them because my mom got my cousin some of those last year. The closest store is an hour away so that's a no go for her birthday (I have to send it out next week) but I'm thinking great for Christmas! I think I'll go the American Girl craft route for her birthday from Amazon. Thanks ladies I really appreciate it. Maybe my exSIL will actually get involved with her on a few of these things.

Emma is 9. She wants clothes and accessories. Nail polish, headbands, bracelets are super important to her.

My 4th graders are liking those loom bracelet kits. There's also some Minecraft chapter books out right now (I think they're kind of instruction guide type things) that they like. They are also in love with lip gloss, accessories, etc.
