Normally, i wear seamless boy shorts style...I tried buying bigger and that doesn't help...so I've bought a few different styles as my waist is expanding and I haven't had much luck! the waist bands annoy me or the crotch is bunchy, you name it. I just can't get comfortable and I have a long way to go!!
Should I start shopping at maternity? I'm 13 weeks
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me.
I bought VS cotton string bikini panties and they are soooo comfy. I haven’t had to buy any maternity panties. They sit really low and don’t interfere with my bump even at 32 weeks. Love them!

I never bought any mat underwear either. Just wore low cut cotton ones that were below belly.

I didn't wear maternity underwear with DS either but I was shopping in Motherhood this time around and saw these fold over underwear - bought them on sale and they're awesome. Wish I bought more. They have like a yoga pant waist that folds down.

Im not sure of the name of this style, but I like VS ones with the wide lace waist band bikini style. These are the only ones that don't seem to cut into me. And other styles with a more narrow lace waist band roll down under my belly. Good luck panty shopping! :-)
WalMart hanes low cut two sizes bigger than your normal. By the end of your pregnancy, you'll want to throw them all out anyways because of all the gross stuff coming out (at least I do), so get ones that are cheap and you won't mind tossing. I think you can get like 10 pairs for $8.
IVF #1 Oct 2013- cancelled IVF #2 Mar 2014- success.... baby girl born 11/28/14 FET #1 Mar 2016- baby boy due 12/16/16
The VS panties that have a lace top that forms a slight V in front are awesome - they sit below my bump and stretch beautifully as I have grown. Never uncomfortable! I like thongs, but pretty sure they make lace topped boy shorts and briefs too.
I used to wear Hanky Panky lace thongs and at first just went up a size. But then I needed to start wearing a liner and tried the Hanky Panky V briefs. They are SO comfortable!! And they sit low/below my belly so I don't have any discomfort. They are pricey but well worth it IMO - I like comfy but nice underwear!
I have the issue of a concave butt. (Okay, not concave, but very flat.) Everything looks baggy if I don't buy it a little small and I do like others with the low rise anyway.

I have these but in the hipsters and I LOVE them BUT now that I have a little blump they are to high because they catch at the bottom of the blump and bunch up. I'll have to go get a few pair of the bikini ones and try them out.
I ordered some that were on sale at motherhood and they are coming today and I'll try them out. I never thought underwear would be an issue.
@1220winterbride - no I don't know what those are .. they are like regular underwear but bigger, cotton, and way more comfy. I think the we're the hipster ones .. ill see if I can find a link/pic
I'm still using my regular undies...those go between VS cotton thongs and Target Gilligan & O'Malley things with the thick lace waistband. They arent tight anywhere and don't pinch. Now they just sit right below the bump and are super comfy. I also intend to toss them all out after...
Married 2007 3 Clomid IUIs -- BFNs IVF #1 never made it to transfer On "egg health" cocktail DHEA/CoQ10/FRC/Pregnitude/Melatonin Starting IVF #2 for Feb 2013 Follistim/Menopur/Ganirelix Cancelled mid-cycle due to high P4 levels early on. OCPs again for IVF 2.5 mid-March. IVF 2.5 transferred two "gorgeous" 5-day blasts and BFFN. Even REI is baffled On indefinite hold until a huge stroke of serendipity led me to IVF 3 May 2014
Testing found positive cardiolipins/APS, now on lovenox and intralipid infusions
Transfer of 2 5-day blasts and (FINALLY) BFFP!!
1st ultrasound shows two sacs and two HB, but one is sluggish, almost expecting vanishing twin
Subsequent ultrasound confirmed vanishing twin, but my other Little critter looks fantastic!

I havent bought maaternity undies yet but im barely showing and im 26 wks...ugh...anyway my reg ones are becoming a little bit uncomfortable so I got fruit of the loom boy shorts....barely any waist band and fits nicely everywhere else
I got my motherhood and tried them out .... NOPE!!!! They are "hi cut". I thought they would be like my hipster but they sag in the ass (to big) and they aren't no show which I'm use to in my Vs.
