Baby falling asleep...

Just curious, I have seen numerous people post pictures of their babies passed out sleeping while on the floor playing or in their exersaucer, I can't recall any time that LO has fallen asleep while playing and its a battles most of the time to get him asleep period. So I'm just curious how many of you have babies like mine or if you have babies that fall asleep almost anywhere?

Mine has never fallen asleep at anything other than the boob or in his crib when we really work at it. He's not an 'on the fly' snoozer unless on a car ride.

She fell asleep once in her jumper at DC probably because she was waaaay exhausted... Usually naps are a struggle

Me either! She only falls asleep at boob or in crib, stroller or carseat.

Once she fell asleep sitting on my lap at thr restaurant but that was only once.

She fell asleep in her exersaucer once but usually it's the car, while nursing, the swing, or baby wearing.

Nope. Never fell asleep playing. She hasn't even slept in her carseat in months. She just loves her crib or my arms.

Not here either. We fight for naps unless he's in the car.

This. No way would he just pass out. He won't even sleep in his stroller unless he's moving at a run. And now has a 20 minute time limit on any "moving" naps in his carseat or ergo. He's all about boobs and bed.

Same here. Once when she was like 3 months old, I laid her down on my lap to get ready to feed her while she was crying, and she immediately fell asleep. That's the only time that's happened.

All these comments make me feel much better lol. I see those pictures with the comments "played too hard" and I think to myself, never in a million years would my LO pass up play time to sleep!

Mine also now will only nap for 20 minutes in her carrier- I used to get 2 hour naps when using it before! She just loves her crib too much now.

I wish! I have to bounce/rock for an hour plus to get my little one to sleep. And that's if all the conditions are juuuuuust right.

Yah, my kids don't do that either. Ds would only sleep in his crib. He is 3 now and has fallen asleep on the sofa once when he was sick. Dd fell asleep on a blanket on the floor once when she was 5 months, but she had even up for a really long time and the house was very quiet.
