Ok so with DS I never felt any nausea and this morning I am fighting back the urge to run to the bathroom. I ate a bananna this morning for breakfast and I don't know if eating helps or makes it worse.
Do any of you ladies have any tricks to help curb the nausea??

Thanks ladies! 2nd question: Do you think there is any truth to your symptoms relating to the sex of your baby?
DS= no nausa
Baby 2= nausa= girl?
Mine was worse with DS - not in terms of actual throwing up, but just the nausea. Actual puking was about the same.
Ginger was a help for me. Trader Joe's Triple Ginger Cookies were great. If you can get your hands on some Zofran, I say do it.

Peppermints. Lots of them. I'm not sure why, but they really helped me to feel better.
Soup, especially hot and sour soup like tom yum (which also has ginger)
Somewhere I heard that eating a couple of plain crackers before you even get out of bed helps? I tried it and I can't say that it worked for me.
Magnesium oil topically is supposed to help. It is good for muscle tension too (I can vouch for this) It is a little itchy when you first apply it. If I have nausea with my next pregnancy I am trying this. I didn't know about it until later with DD.
Another vote for Jolly Ranchers. That and frequent snacking.
Sorry you're feeling so sick!
