We are still in the infant seat and far from moving out of it, It has its advantages and disadvantages at this point. I am comparing RF ones but at this point I am overwhelmed and have stopped. I probably won't resume looking again until I see a great sale or I am forced to buy one.
L is still in his infant seat. He's got about another inch to grow in his torso (or 2-3 inches overall) before he outgrows it. We'll probably switch him within the next month... He's getting sooooo heavy! I have a couple seats in mind just have to pick one.
Still in the infant seat. She hasn't outgrown it yet. I was thinking of maybe buying her a new one if there's a good sale after Thanksgiving.
Merry Christmas, Santa bought you a car seat!
That's funny because me and my DH were just talking about that same thing, They are young they just want the box more than anything.
B is in his convertible seat rear facing. C is going to take over his seat tomorrow as B's new seat arrived today. C is smaller and is taking over the Recaro and B has a Graco 4Ever now. Anyone been on the Car Seats for Littles FB site? I was on it for a bit and got some good info. Some of the ladies can be kinda bitchy.

LO was outgrowing the height of the infant seat, so we had to switch a couple months ago. I wish we could have stayed in the infant for a little longer because it really was more convenient.

Lo is still in the infant seat but only for the convenience of bundling him up in the house in the mornings. It's pretty heavy lugging him around though. We'll probably switch him to a diono in the spring if he doesn't outgrow the seat before then.
Little man is huge and we hit the weight limit before the height limit at close to 22 lbs around 8 months. He is in a chicco nextfit in my car and a graco headwise in hubby's vehicle. I miss the infant seat and portability when he falls asleep in the car!
We've been in a convertible since July. Logan is a big kid and it just wasn't working anymore. I've been having the discussion with H that he's not big enough to be forward facing yet, but he doesn't seem to be understanding it. He thinks that because Logan's feet hit the seat, he needs to be facing forward. I need to look for more car seat resources to show him I guess..

@sweetsyrup check out the website CarSeatsForTheLittles.com for all things car seat safety. They also have a FB page you can join. You can tell them your car, Childs height and weight, and your budget and they will recommend the best seat for you. They also have links to YouTube videos and safety tests that show why RF until 2 is the safest. Maybe you can show you're DH the videos.
Both! We moved LO into big brother's RF seat in my car and the infant seat in DH's car for the time being. Biggest reason is the cost of the convertible booster seats for big brother. This let us buy them one at a time.
LO is still in the infant seat. I tried to use DS's seat rear facing but I couldn't get the correct angle. So I guess we will be buying a new seat for LO soon.
Still in infant seat for now.. LO is running a little smaller than his older brother did at this age. I had DS1 in a new seat at about 9 mo old. However, I think my first infant seat was only up to 20lbs whereas this one is up to 22lbs. So there is that too. I'll be watching for just the right deal on the seat I want though & then will make the switch soon.

I have, and "kinda bitchy" is putting it lightly! I followed it just for general information, not because I have any questions/concerns, but I was wasting way too much time reading the arguments/debates so I unfollowed.
My LO has been in a convertible (Graco Headwise) since maybe 7 months?...whenever he had enough control to sit in a shopping cart. He's big and it was too hard to keep carrying around the infant seat.
We still use the infant seat in DH's car (which he rides in maybe 1x/week), but LO is getting close to the height limit, so we'll probably install the other convertible this weekend.

We pass our seats to friends with new babies.
