My Facebook friend posted this and said "I hope someone calls CPS." I know Jada and Will have been questioned before regarding how they are raising their kids.
Why would someone call cps? That's offensive to kids who are abused and neglected.
In a way, they're right about school. Life is learning, and school is only a fragment of that. But I still feel pretty sure they have received an education-probably from a home tutor like most kid stars.
I like these two from this interview alone. I've never had any other basis on which to form an opinion. Oh, except when the Smiths were on a David Blaine special and seemed like a cute and normal family. They're either trolling us so hard or they're just two kinda weird kids who think a lot about the world around them.
Your friend needs to get a grip.

I think she was being slightly sarcastic. While I do think they sound intelligent and use a lot of big words, them being so wrapped up in scientology kind of weird me out. I'm not a fan of religions/beliefs that border on cult like.
Um, they said some crazy shit. Like that mirrors don't exist and that babies are super beings with pulsing energy trying to escape. Not cps worthy, at all. But these kids are clearly a weird mixture of pretentious and bananas.
I can't get the ticker to work, but I have two sons:
They're pretty eloquent, self indulgent and self important kids. It seems like they are also very intelligent and confident. I hope the money never runs out for them, as long as it doesn't they'll be fine.
Totally agree. They're not intellectual superstars or anything but I think they'll turn out ok.

They sound like they like using big words and abstract concepts. Kind of like when Joey used his thesaurus to improve his letter in support of Chandler and Monica's adoption application.
They are pretty young kids too. I mean, I had some pretty batty "intellectual" thoughts when I was their age too, but I was just an everyday average working class teenager. They live In an entirely different world, so I think it makes sense that they are so much more over the top.
I skimmed some more and I hope it's clear that I think this Scientology stuff is, as @theseaword says, bananas. Just didn't want to go to bed with you all thinking I was gonna sign up to join the church tomorrow or something!

Ok I was actually quite taken aback lol, I was like...LStJ, they think public schools are drugging children...
I'd like to talk to you about your energy. Is your head still pulsing? An audit can help!

Scientology stuff aside, they just sound like typical (albeit overindulged) teenagers figuring stuff out. They are more vocal about it because they have an audience. Normal teenagers don't get interviewed like this. CPS for what? Like pp said, that is an insult to kids who really need CPS intervention.
I used to love Will Smith something fierce. But I'm a little ....wut?...about that interview. I mean, I'm pretty sure if I just added "man" every few words or so, I would have guessed the interview was with Tommy Chong ' s character on "That 70 Show" . Not worthy of a CPS call, but just..out there @-)
Re: What do we think about this - The Smith Kids
It sounds to me like they are a couple of really philosophical people, and very smart.

I think they will calm down in a couple years.
