intro and question

I've been lurking for a bit and wanted to join you guys. I'm 26 and DH is 27. I have endometriosis and DH has MFI. I've had two laps done to clean the endo out and my OB/GYN checked to make sure my tubes were open. DHs first SA, his motility was 30% and we had 0% normal forms. He also had low sperm count. First RE had him take vitamins and recheck SA. The numbers improved slightly. Motility up to 40%, we just barely passed the line for normal amount of sperm, and we went from 0% to 3% normal sperm.

We found a new RE because we did not like our last one. Our last one wanted to go very slow and we had been unprotected since 2009 with no luck. We started really TTC in 2011. So our new RE is having us go straight to IVF/ICSI as our best hope for a child. Our educational/financial apt is dec 2 and I'm very excited to get the ball rolling.

My question is, how did you finance your ivf cycle, and what did they go over as far as educational wise? Sorry this turned into a story book, and hope you gals will have me.
