How are you feeling? Pretty good....still have the heartburn and tired ALL.THE.TIME!

Favorite moment of the week? Taking pictures with DS for Christmas cards and his two year old birthday. Can't wait to see them!

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 16 weeks - avocado

If you’re far enough along, are you having a boy or girl or are you team green? (This is to update the list, so if you’re already on there no need to answer again!) Found out last week via u/s we are team BLUE!!! A/S is scheduled for 12-11 so we will have verification as well there but it was pretty obvious lol

How are you feeling? I am feeling pretty good. Still a bit tired (and waiting for that second tri burst of energy to kick in) but I don't mind.

Favorite moment of the week? Getting to see our baby boy via u/s. He was happily flipping and squirming all over the place, I loved it!

Least favorite moment of the week? Having to deal with snow squalls + dead stopped traffic this morning. Which only lead for my boss to be very grumpy and childlike about me being late (I'm never late).

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Already touched on this a bit but my symptoms are getting better. Still tired and having lots of stretching/rlp pain. But its manageable and much better than 1st tri was.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? I have my days. Especially since I am starting to feel better and I can't yet feel him move. But overall I am ok at this point.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Normal bi-weekly Dr apt on Thursday. And then a/s on 12-11.

Any interesting pregnancy-related dreams you’d like to share? I have very vivid and weird dreams when pregnant. I think the weirdest one that I have had recently is that I was back in high school (I graduated 15 yrs ago) lol No idea where that one came from!

How are you feeling? Blah

Favorite moment of the week? I know it's early, but I washed all burp cloths, blankets, and clothes that we received at our shower and ones that I've accumulated. It felt good to have it all ready and it was fun to fold all the newborn clothes. They're so small and cute!

Least favorite moment of the week? Getting sick. I started feeling sick on Saturday and haven't started feeling better yet, just that my symptoms change from one area to the next.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? About the same. I feel like my belly has had a huge growth spurt over the past two weeks and I can feel it when I stand and walk. It's not bad, just a strange feeling.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? I'm doing ok this week.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Reaching 30 weeks feels like a big accomplishment. Almost down to the single digit week countdown!

Any interesting pregnancy-related dreams you’d like to share?

This is not going to make a lot of sense, but it's a dream, so... Last night I had a dream that my mom tricked me and I'm actually going to deliver a spider, not a human baby. Somehow, she implanted a spider egg in my uterus and that's what's been growing this whole time. Weird.

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 31 weeks pineapple

How are you feeling? Feeling very large and starting to feel uncomfortable. Baby is moving all the time which is amazing. Stomach is starting to get sore. The maternity pants im wearing today are a little tight and it makes me want to cry. I am having one of those days....blah

Favorite moment of the week? Had my 30 week check up and my mom was able to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Also my mom and aunt flew down for my baby shower this last weekend. It was a great time.

Least favorite moment of the week? Starting to feel self conscious which sucks. And DH is gone again for the week.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Stomach is starting to feel extremely large and gets sore at times. The heartburn seems to come and go as it pleases. My eyes are extremely swollen every morning regardless of how much sleep i get. Usually have a headache and upset stomach in the morning which is not ideal and a little bit of swelling has started. Can you tell im having one of those days... ugg but trying to remain thankful.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Baby is active all the time so I am feeling good. Just having little unexplained bouts of anxiety that started last week and are not fun.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? I still feel like every good appointment is a milestone. Im actually excited to start having appointments every 2 weeks. I leave home in less than a month now...cue the anxiety.

angielayne926 – Sorry you are having to deal with the heartburn. I had it bad in my first trimester too. I would usually just go to bed as soon as I got home from work.

Courtney1741 – Welcome to team blue!!! I started to get my bursts of energy sometime after 20 weeks or so. It is so nice to start feeling like a person again. Sorry you are dealing with all the snow, I wish we would get some. This is the second winter in a row that much of the US is having extreme winters and where I am in Alaska it’s still 50 degrees and no snow.

luciddreamer106 – Thanks for the check in! I am right there with you feeling blah. Awesome job getting everything washed! I did a bunch of that last week but we still don’t have a dresser so now all the clothes are just sitting in piles. No ultrasound for me this appointment because my Dr was running about 30 min late but my mom got to hear the heartbeat for the first time which was awesome and she got to meet my Dr and loved her. I will be getting another ultrasound at 37-38 weeks they said so I’m looking forward to that.

@grailseeker14 It’s normal to not feel any movement yet, so try not to worry about that yet. I remember being in early-mid 2^nd trimester and feeling great/not quite feeling pregnant. Enjoy that feeling (though I know it’s hard for us PGALers)!

@snowbigdeal Congrats on the girl! Yay for getting answers about your sleep issue. I’m sorry you had to deal with the insensitive tech, what a jerk.

So, it's probably been like 10 weeks since I've been on here...whoops! Once my miscarriage jitters subsided, I stopped stalking the boards. It is great to catch up on everyone's stories, though!

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 30 weeks! Cucumber...even though I feel like this baby is MUCH bigger than that right now. haha

How are you feeling? Just huge. It's getting harder to eat lately. Baby Fin is taking up all of the room in there!

Favorite moment of the week? Had an amazing baby shower this past Saturday! We got so much more than I ever imagined we would for our little guy. We'll have one more in the beginning of January, but I honestly feel like we're almost set!

Least favorite moment of the week? Husband working two 16-hour shifts back to back. Gettin' pretty lonely here. Ready for this baby to keep me company!

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Pretty intense back pain, but only if I am very active during the day. Cleaning the whole house in one day is not good for the back, I've learned. Using muscles back there that I never knew I had! Also, I have started noticing that sometimes I can hear the baby? I know that sounds crazy, but I googled it and I am not the only one. It's hard to describe, but it kinda sounds like a popping/smacking sound? From what I've read online it could be ligaments popping, or the baby breaking suction on a fist or thumb. I want to lean towards it being baby, because it definitely isn't painful to me in any way. It's gotta be related to the baby somehow, though, because it always corresponds with a kick/movement.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? It's almost non-existent now. I have a little anxiety about the birth, but I am trying to stay positive. It just feels good to know that even if baby comes now, there's a strong chance he'll make it.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? 30 weeks definitely feels huge. I am super excited to be this far along. I do have a routine appointment tomorrow, but hopefully nothing too exciting.

Any interesting pregnancy-related dreams you’d like to share?

Gosh, most of my dreams are just insane these days. Not really pregnancy related (unless hormone-related counts). I did have one weird one about delivery. In the first part of the dream, I gave birth to a fish. A small one...like, a betta fish. In the second part, I gave birth to a suuuuper tiny fetus. Looked like maybe 9 weeks. The doctors placed it in this crazy primordial soup-like solution and said "good luck!"
Haaa, so trippy. Sure enough, it started growing. It was like watching the whole process take place outside of the womb. Pretty cool, but oh so creepy. I was very happy to wake up and feel a big baby moving around in my belly. :0

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 39 weeks, watermelon!!!!!!

How are you feeling? Very anxious. Not so much about the birth, I just want to meet her so bad. At my appointment yesterday I had progressed to 70% effaced and 1cm dilated. She did a membrane sweep - as much as she could reach and I could tolerate her reaching. So we'll see if that helps encourage her to move before we head off to an induction.

Favorite moment of the week? My sister had her baby! She had a failed induction that ended in a csection (so very yucky for her and makes me hope extra hard I don't have to be induced). She had some health stuff going on that made them to decide to induce at 37 weeks, so it seems baby was just not ready to come out yet. She was due 10 days AFTER me, so I was/am a teensy bit jealous that she is home snuggling her baby. But mostly I'm super happy for her and cannot wait to be able to meet my new niece. She also had a loss so going through our pregnancies together has been really amazing and I'm so happy that she has her happy, healthy and adorable rainbow.

Least favorite moment of the week? I woke up Friday morning at 2am to timeable contractions - not awful, but enough to wake me up. I got all psyched up to go into labor, contractions were down to 10 minutes apart, and then nothing...... That was disappointing to say the least. I didn't expect her to come quite that soon and I was willing to keep waiting, but gosh that was such a mind-bend to think I was going to have her and then nothing happened. By that evening I was in a pretty dark and crabby place.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? The more intense contractions are new. I keep having the random contractions and cramping. I'm not going to get all worked up again unless my water breaks or they really start to hurt. Apparently this is how my body prepares. I am grateful that my body is working on labor and practicing. I'm pretty sure they will hurt a bit more when the time comes for real. Right now they aren't too bad.

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? I would like to request T&Ps for a smooth labor and delivery that preferably happens before I need to be induced on Sunday evening!

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Delivery day and holding my baby. EEEEEEEEeeeeeeee!

Any interesting pregnancy-related dreams you’d like to share? I have had a lot of crazy random dreams during this pregnancy. The pregnancy related ones that stand out to me are the ones that are anxiety driven - like we go on vacation but forget that we left our newborn at home alone.

@snowbigdeal I'm glad what you were experiencing wasn't sleep apnea! I'm sorry that the actual test was so bad for you though.

@Keberly91 How crazy that you can hear the baby! I didn't know that was possible.

@officedronette I'm sorry that your week has been so scary. I can only imagine how the spotting is torturing you right now. FWIW, I had spotting after internal u/s during that time. I know the additional spotting must feel awful to see, but hopefully it is just irritation from the wand on your now very sensitive cervix. ((hugs))

How far along are you? What fruit/veggie are you? 36 weeks -- honeydew!

How are you feeling? Huge and lots of contractions. Need to keep little one cooking one more week so that we can deliver at the birthing center; fair game after that!

Favorite moment of the week? Had a great day on Friday with SO; we went to my appt with my new OB (love!) and then went out for a lunch date afterwards at a converted firehouse across the street from the hospital. It was crazy to think that in a few weeks we'll be ordering takeout from the same restaurant to eat in the hospital!

Least favorite moment of the week? Contractions. Lots of contractions. Mostly BHs, but a couple nasty ones.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones? Did I mention contractions?

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests? Doing okay.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to? Next appt is Tuesday at 37wks; my appt with the new OB was great. He's so understanding and comforting and is totally on board with my birth plan. Also, as of Friday, I'm 1cm dilated, so progress is being made!

Favorite moment of the week?
Today was last day of work!! Yay! I still have some grading and lesson plans to finish up, but the subs start officially tomorrow. Yes! And I had my 37 week check up and all is well. Baby is very dropped, and we're at 1 cm dilated and 60% effaced. For some reason that makes me so excited! I know it could stay that way for weeks, but it just seems like a good sign - like my body has actually got this thing covered

Least favorite moment of the week?

Ugh, total overwhelm meltdown on Sunday trying to get all my work done for leaving this week.

How are your symptoms? Getting better? Worse? Any new ones?
Heartburn has been a monster. The newest symptom is that I just can't sleep. I'm averaging 4-5 hrs a night. Boo! Hopefully, now that I'm on leave I'll at least get some good naps in!

How is PGAL brain treating you? Any T&P requests?
Pretty good. I have background worries about late loss and complications, but I'm not overwhelmed by them.

Any upcoming appointments or milestones you're looking forward to?
Next weekly check next Tues. And I've got an acupuncture appt. My OB actually recommended it to help get ready for labor and I'm really curious what it will be like.

I have had a bunch of dreams where I had to rescue my dog. A couple of times it has been from a lion!!

@luciddreamer - miraculously the car is fine! the check engine light turned out to be nothing. Thankfully! I know what you mean about the tiny laundry. The other day DH was washing some baby clothes and I heard him shout, OH MY GOD! He just couldn't get over how tiny they are and how our LO is really going to wear them.

@mrskblack11 sorry about the congestion. I hear that is pretty common in pregnancy - check out "pregnancy rhinitis." Congrats on the good news!!

@angielayn926 sorry about the heartburn. It's pretty miserable!

@courtney1741 How fun to know you're having a son!!

@samanthalaura16 Sorry about the pants stress. It sounds silly but that is actually really miserable. I found I had to buy 2 pairs of third tri pants since the first maternity pants I got got too snug. I felt a LOT better once I switched.

@grailseeker14 cute story about YH! My H often whistles, especially in the shower, and it makes me really happy because he seems so happy.

@snowbigdeal I'm sorry about the tough sleep test and all the accompanying hurts. But glad you don't have sleep apnea! And hooray for healthy little daughter!!

@officedronette I'm so sorry for the spotting. The anxiety and waiting must be so hard - it makes the bathroom such a scary place. I hope it stops soon and you keep getting reassuring news. I hope the week goes by quickly.

@mrstuna08 oh my goodness! 39 weeks! I hope little tuna decides to make her appearance soon! Congrats to your sister! I hope it won't be too long til you are snuggling your own sweet LO.

30 weeks, cucumbers

my pelvis hurts when I change positions, and everything takes a few moments to reconfigure when I go from sit to stand... otherwise doing pretty well!

Fave moment? Not sure.... but I did smile to run into another twin mom at the grocery store, she had 2 at home 5yo and 15 mo, I think I got it a little easier not chasing 2 while growing 2....

least fave moment? I forgot to go to my growth scan, DH forgot, too..... until I was already 45 minutes late- so rescheduled to next week :-( also struggling with blood sugars....

symptoms/feeling... I could nap. A lot!

Upcoming appts- Fri with OB next Tues for growth scan. We have T-giving with in laws this weekend! :-)

Babies are moving a lot, love feeling them still! :-)

I don't remember my dreams for very long... sometimes I tell my hubby about them and he laughs at me, but I dont remember very many recently....

Hey everyone! Just wanted to stop by again to say thank you all for the support throughout my pregnancy. I posted our birth story, but the highlight is that our baby boy Joseph Thomas was born on Nov 13th at 6:39pm, weighing 9lbs 1 oz and 21.5 inches long. I had a c-section and he spent some time in the NICU but we're both home and doing very well all things considered. He's amazing and I love him so much, I frequently look at him and start to cry because I'm just so happy and grateful that he's here.

Best wishes to everyone for healthy, happy rainbow babies!

@officedronette‌ I had lots of weird feelings in my lower abdomen early on in pregnancy. I had cramping , weird pulling sensations, pressure and everything seems to be going well at 30 weeks.
