30 week visit

Did not go like I thought it would. All of my appointments have been perfect, and then this morning my blood pressure was really high and she checked it three times. She said she would check it after my ultrasound so that maybe it would go down. That's when I started complaining about how bad my head was pounding, and she talked to my doctor about it. After the ultrasound, he came in to talk to me and wanted to get some blood work done just to see about pre-e. Boo :( But, just an update on the girls... Hadley is head down on the right and Grayson is breech on the left. Heartbeats were 150 and 155, and they're just getting chubbier every appointment! Now, because he is worried about developing (or have already developed) pre-e, I will go every week. Yay for more ultrasounds and healthy babies! Hadley's sweet little face is all squished in there!

Re: 30 week visit

  • Sorry to hear your appointment did not go well. I hope your labs come back clear and it was just a fluke high BP. Take care of yourself!

  • @ExcitedMama2‌, he just said to take it easy. No real "restrictions" or anything, just not being on my feet too much and checking my blood pressure and taking ibuprofen for the headaches to see if they get better.
  • Love the baby pics! Sorry about your BP... I hope they can get it managed with meds and its not pre-e... but just PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) ;-)
