I just got a new job and I'm super excited about it!

R: DH is gone MTW in LA and then comes home late Wednesday night just to turn around and fly to Boston TF and he won't be home until 9 pm Friday night. Work travel sucks.
AW: DD is almost rolling over! We are so close.
V: WTAF weather in Texas. Below freezing???? I didn't leave the Northeast for this shit. Give me back my 100 degrees. Seriously.
I was emailed this morning that I do have a roommate now

R: I'm going to the Christmas Tree Shop and can't wait to buy all the things!!!
AW: I'm getting a bunch of my friends babies/kids/pets to take their holiday pictures, so I can try and get a side photography biz going... overly excited.
V: DD is being a big fuss whenever we go for a walk with the dog.. she will cry the whole time.. it's really frustrating!
R: I'm considering going to a couples retreat or some sort of therapy with ex. I'm not sure what's worse, being without my kids or trying to make something work with someone I don't like so that I don't have to ever be away from my babies.
AW: I can't think of a dang thing to brag about. I'll just post pics of my gorgeous kids. Not scuuuurrrrd!
V: I went and physically looked at both local shelters and Noah wasn't there. I had a borderline anxiety attack walking through there and couldn't contain my tears. People were looking at me like I was a lunatic. All those poor homeless babies and mine wasn't among them. It hurts all over again.
R and V: I hate DH's work schedule. Being a supervisor should result in a different work schedule than the EO's. 6 days on go by too damn slow and 3 days off go by too damn fast. WAHHHHHH!!!
AW: I am excited to be going to see all my family and inlaws for Thanksgiving. I still have a great grandmother that my kids will get to meet. It's weird to say that they will meet their great great grandma.
R: It's flurrying outside.. I'm not ready for this stuff!!
AW: DS is teething and two little white lines are on the bottom. I'm so nervous/excited/and scared since I ebf. And totally stoked that I snagged a high chair, activity table, 3 sleepers, 4 onesies, and 3 outfits for $40 from another local momma on a for sale site.
V: My DH is a salaried employee and so he gets paid the same whether he works 40 hours or 80. Well he typically works 8-5:30 (9 hour days), but sometimes we have appointments or I need him to be home by 4:30 (so I could get a WAY overdue haircut) and someone complained about him leaving "early" (at 4) the other day. Yet he went in at 6 to "make up" the time difference. It's totally ridiculous.
R: I have come to really appreciate my "pumping and bumping" breaks.
AW: I am so excited to go home and have my little love bug fall asleep on my while nursing!
V: My mom is our primary weekday child care, but she is sick with pneumonia. DH complained about having to call in to work a day this week to take care of our son. I already took 2 days (not to mention I just went back after ML), my sister took a day, and his mother took a day. But he tells me that "we" need to put a backup plan in place when things like this happen so he doesn't screw over his co-workers....
R: I want to be at home playing video games right now. Alas, I am at work. Yay for being a responsible adult I guess?
AW: I'm still in shock LO sttn last night. It probably won't happen again. But it happened once, and it's given me hope. Maybe he'll surprise me again tonight? My boobs aren't sure what they think of that.
V: One of my co-workers yesterday came up to me and said "Just thought you should know I'm feeling kind of nauseous today but I think I'll be okay..." like she was expecting me to tell her to go home and I'd cover for her. And I could have any other day, except yesterday she had the late shift so I would have gotten off 2 hours later. Which would mean I couldn't pick DS up from daycare. It would take DH an hour and a half to get to the daycare if he would have been able to leave work on time. If she were legit sick, yeah maybe we could find a way to make it work, but don't fish to be sent home.
I proposed an idea to save someone a shit ton of money on something they don't need and they ran it through their insurance agent. The one who was happy to sell them way too much insurance in the first place.
I do not sell insurance, btw. It's a much longer story, of course, but it was a dick move.
And my AW? My baby has the most beautiful head of hair.
I need "likes" on Facebook. My sweet morkie is in a picture competition for mean green cleanser on facebook and is currently losing to a can wreath and a hot rod. She's super cute and I would be totally okay with being behind the picture of an angry toilet, but not the wreath and the hot rod.
R: Between being a single momma, working retail in season, and doing school its been forever since I've posted anything.
AW: DS now rolls over belly to back and back to belly and found his feet (as of two days ago) and he's getting really good at holding onto and playing with his toys. I can't believe he'll be four months on Tuesday.
V: relactating is a bitch... trying my best not to get discouraged. It also sucks waking up to pump when DS JUST started STTN (also as of two nights ago)
R- I started a mom's group that will meet on Monday mornings. I'm beyond excited!
Aw- I got on the scale yesterday and am 2 lbs away from my pre pregnancy weight! I was shocked because I've been eating total crap... Like Pizza 4 times last week. I'm still flabby but the weight is half the battle
V- these people never drop their baby of at a consistent time. It drives me nuts! I thought they'd be here at 10:30 so I didn't nap.... They still aren't here. I totally could've napped
R: I just realized today that I've only been away from DD twice-- each time for an hour or less. I need to get out more.
AW: My weight is lower than it has been in about 2 years. Maybe having a baby is finally helping my body get below the weight I've been stuck at for so long. I still have a long way to go, so this isn't much of a brag, but still!
V: DD still hates tummy time. She just chews on her hands and/or cries. I'm worried this kid will NEVER be mobile.
Random: Even though I was a super active poster and was with the board from the beginning, I started a new screen name completely fresh. There are a lot of people who don't know who I am/was. I kind of like it.
Attention Whore: When we say "Hellloooooooooooooooooooooooo" at F, he goes "hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" back at us. I know he isn't actually saying anything but it totally sounds like almost hello. #crazymom #dontcare
Vent: I just spent hours this weekend troubleshooting our cloth diapers. If the damn issue isn't fixed I'm going to pout.

I was having issues with my diapers and decided to try and sell a certain brand because I was sick of them leaking/soaking through. Turns out that I'm not able to sell them as easily as I had hoped. I'll be pissed if I can't get my stash sold when DD is potty trained.
@bullybutt what kind is leaking? I bought 20 fuzzibunz with DS1 and they were the worst. Now I have bum genius, blueberry and tiny tush. No more leaks! Also a diaper that is sized too small is usually a leaky diaper.

Random: I've made the decision to get bariatric surgery. I put on 30lbs from stress eating when Alexander is in the NICU, ontop of the 25 I gained from the pregnancy (I was a big girl to start with).
Aw: Alexander, so far, has no developmental delays. He is finally on all the growth charts for his actual age! He has started babbling allllll the time and loves to "talk" to me all day long. I can't believe he is 6 months old.
Vent: I hate having to explain EVERYTHING to my family over and over. They don't see Alexander as a preemie anymore. They get upset that I don't want to bring him to a gathering of 50 people during cold/flu/rsv season. They laugh at me when I tell them how I get nervous about things like the baby sleeping alone in a room. The first experience I have of being a mom is watching my baby hooked up to machines in a plastic box. No shit I get anxious about things other moms wouldn't even give a 2nd thought.
@eadams08 Just wanted to say it is great to hear how well your LO is doing. Regardless of the positive outcome, you experienced a pretty traumatic time with your baby. It seems natural to feel protective of your baby, and even more so with what you dealt with. I hope for continued health and that you're family can respect what you're feeling.

Tots Bots. They worked well with DS but have been soaking through the PUL with DD. I thought about stripping them but none of my others were doing it. I just got fed up and decided to sell those but it's crickets on the BST pages.
@bullybutt Have you tried other brands? I'll trade you some BG 4.0 snaps if youd like. I like them- but am looking to try different kinds.
I also have Swaddlebees (I love), Peachy Greens, THX and some other china made aplix. I have 3 of the Tots Bots AIO that I am trying to get rid of (red/orange/chicken little). I've never tried BGs but I know a lot of people LOVE them. My Tots Bots are VGUC considering that I used them with #1 kiddo.
R: I want new living room furniture. I talked DH into going to look at stores this weekend, hopefully we find something.
AW: DS is getting so good at reaching for his toys, and loves playing in his mat, and bouncer. I love watching how excited he gets.
V: I went shopping today and nothing fits right. So frustrating! I just want to find a pair of jeans!
My new method of shopping (and my co-worker's who had a baby in April) is to just buy online and/or instore and try everything on at home. So much better than trying shit on in the store in crappy little rooms where you are on top of the mirror with crappy lighting.
@bullybutt That's the worst!. You could always just throw a cover over them too but that sort of defeats the purpose, right? We had to do that with our newborn kissaluvs because homeboy peed through those in a half an hour.
Random: I found Toaster Scrambles at Wegmans last week and I'm soooo excited. My car was covered in Toaster Scramble flakes all throughout college. I thought they stopped making them.
AW: I'm spewing enough milk that I've been giving my friend who can't BF enough to keep her kid fed, too. This makes me feel like supermom.
Vent: My dad is in the hospital for the third time this week with severe stomach pains, and nothing is helping. His dad passed away due to stomach cancer at 60yo. My dad is now 68. I told him he needs to demand an endoscopy this time.
R: I'm really looking forward to going to visit my mom and siblings this weekend. The four of us kids haven't been together in almost a year. My sister's shitty girlfriend better not make her flake out on us.
AW: My kid got to use his exersaucer for the first time this morning and he LOVED it. I'm going to need to figure out how to get some extra support around him though because he hasn't quite figured it out and keeps tipping over. He holds his head up fine, just flails his whole body around.
V: Screw you winter. You just couldn't stay away could you? You stayed late AND came early. You are such a shitty guest.

@jessafishy
We use a blanket tucked all around LO when he's in his exersaucer. Stops him from flinging his body all over the place!

Yes, the A&A blankets work well.
Thanks ladies! I was going to try an A+A blanket or a receiving blanket when I got home!

R: I am craving cookies and cream ice cream but its to cold
AW: DD can now roll back to tummy and I caught it on camera
V: I;m stressing out that my supply is decreasing and I'm flying through my freezer stash. And to make it worse today when I thawed one it had a leak and I lost 3 oz
