  • @kleigh926 how do you make the breakfast pizza?

  • Breakfast pizza

    1 lb pork sausage
    8 oz crescent roll tube
1 cup shredded hash browns, thawed
    4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
    3 eggs
    1/4 cup milk
    Pepper
    Parmesan cheese

Brown the sausage and let cool slightly. Unroll the crescent roll dough flat on a greased pizza pan or baking sheet; press seams together to form crust (you can make it into a pizza shape or rectangular). Spread sausage evenly on top of dough, then hashbrowns and cheese. Combine eggs, milk, and pepper in a bowl. Pour over top of pizza. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake at 375 for 25- 30 minutes.

  • Chicken breast cut into chunks, dipped in egg, rolled in Ritz crackers (or saltines, butter, your choice). Then fry to get the breading crisp and baked until chicken is done. Serve with lemon or tartar sauce.

    Basically it's a really fancy nugget. ;)

  • I don't have a plan but need to get one.  One thing I did do not that long ago is start writing all the entrees I know how to make on orange/pink index cards, starch sides on yellow and vegetable sides on green.  In my ideal world, I will get out may cards at the start of each week and pick an entree, starch and veggie for each night from my cards....can mix and match from week to week, etc.  I am very visual, so I like the idea of this, but have not yet put it into practice.  I think I might need a board with a laundry clip or something for each day of the week to clip them there where I can see.  The only problem with my plan that I can see is that I will still have to actually cook the food :)

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013.  We love her to pieces.

We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011.  She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

  • Here's Ours:

Monday (last night): Whole wheat pizzas from a local pizza shop
Tuesday: Oven fried chicken, mashed rutabagas, sauteed spinach
Wednesday: Crock pot pulled pork sandwiches, cole slaw, french fries
Thursday: Shrimp Etouffee, brown rice, roasted carrots
Friday: its my birthday so I'm leaving it up to DH :-)...But I definitely won't be cooking!
Saturday: Ground turkey & cabbage egg rolls, broccoli

    Have a great week everyone,

    Kate
