Favorite Things

Christmas craft/Favorite things party is on Saturday and I'm fresh out of ideas as to what to get for my favorite thing.  Honestly, we've been doing this 5 years now, and I feel like I've used up all my real favorite things. :-)

The rules are simple...we buy 3 of our favorite things under $10, then we pick names, exchange and explain why said thing is our favorite thing.  But they have to be things that are your favorite for you, not for your kids, your spouse, etc.  Last year some of the favorites were:

The Body Shop Hemp hand cream & body butter
Starbucks gift cards
Chapstick brand chapstick
cool sterling silver earrings
Yardley soap
wine opener
ear warmer chunky head wrap thingy (winter headband?)
Mrs. Meyers Basil hand soap & counter cleaner

I was originally going to buy some Trojan Intense lube because seriously, it's totally my favorite, but it's not in the price range, so now I'm looking for other options.  Perhaps your favorites will spark my favorites!

  • I'm super anal about my hot cocoa. Almost the more chocolate the better. This weekend at Menards(which I know you have) I found a box of Starbucks Double Chocolate hot cocoa mix. There are 6 in the box. O.M.G. so good. It was $5 something.

Burts Bees chapstick, bread from a local Swedish bakery or any favorite bakery with a cookie, cupcake etc you love.

For the BEST hot chocolate ever, check out Williams Sonoma. It will seriously change your world. It's actual chocolate shavings, not powder.

I really hate when that happens. I've been about 50/50 success rate with pinned recipes. I need to post my "nailed it" photos. It would be pretty assuming!

+1. I actually looked it up for this list because I couldn't remember if they had a small canister for around $10, but no luck.

  • For things under $10...
I love the Scrub Daddy. It's that yellow smiley face dish sponge that was on Shark Tank. Totally useful.
And the bigger post it notes with the lines!
