PSA: Teacher Gifts

Zulily has a bunch of cute teacher gifts today. I ended up buying a knit infinity scarf for all of the kids teachers at $10 each. I'll probably pair with a Starbucks gift card and a "Stay Warm" themed card.

    Thanks for the tip, I might totally steal this idea.  

    I was already looking for scarves as his one teacher is always complementing mine.  I am just torn on whether or not i should give them the same gift or something different...  I was thinking the same.

    I'm all about same gifts across the board. It's hard enough to come up with one teacher idea.

    I go with the same gift for all, different colors usually. I bought four neutral colored scarves.

    That is what i am looking at right now actually!  i have two neutral colored scarves in my cart :)

    How much is normal/good to spend on teacher gifts?  I know this has been discussed, but I can't remember.

    I keep it around $20 or less. It's too many teachers to do more than that -- we have 5 between the two kids' classes.

    I usually do $20-25. We have 4 teachers to buy for. So the $10 scarf and a $10 Starbucks GC will probably be it.

    Ethan has three teachers.  I was thinking of doing $30 gift cards for each of them, so I guess I'm not far off.

    For Pre-K, I would keep it in the $20-$30 range for full time teacher/ full time assistant, part time assistant/ floaters I would do a bit less.

    I've always done a Starbucks card for the cook and directors. Maybe I will add in a cute scarf too! Love that idea.

    Oh and I totally just remembered that this year I get to pick out teacher gifts for Jack's preschool teachers! Stealing the "scarf + coffee" idea and throwing in a few scarves for me bc I am obsessed with infinity scarves currently....which goes without saying that if a student in my class gave me a scarf and a coffee gc, I'd be a happy girl!
