I've been stalking you like crazy (I'm sure I'm not the only one), and just wanted to share how happy and excited I am to see you finally getting your well-deserved happy ending this week. It's so amazing to see you carry your little girls for so long, and you've been a champ the whole way through!
As a previously induced mom, allow me to humbly (but strongly) recommend asking for an epidural as early as possible after being induced, as I can tell you that Pitocin-induced contractions are ridiculously painful. I was induced at 39w4d about 8 hours after my water broke and I failed to dilate beyond a fingertip. By the time I reached 2cm, I was cursing through every contraction, begging for drugs. By comparison, when I started going into labor with my second at 38w (I had a RCS that turned into an ECS), I was blissfully unaware that I was at 4-5 cm when I went in for my weekly checkup. When the doctor went in to get my little one, he said he was shocked I couldn't feel the contractions because based on how my uterus looked, I'd been contracting like crazy! I just wanted to share that, because I feel like you've been through so much to get here, and I'd hate to see you suffer more unnecessarily.
But the main reason for my post is just to congratulate you yet again and wish you the best as your journey to meeting your lucky clovers comes to a close and a new and exciting chapter in your lives begins. Wishing nothing but the best for you, YH, and your girls, and again, so happy for you!

I saw the Mfm yesterday and I'm not dilated at all. He laughed saying to be prepared for the induction to take a "few" days... Lovely! There's a chance I can also get bumped tomorrow if L&D is too busy with active labors since I'm deemed "elective" (which I disagreed with: nothing elective with being still pregnant with twins at 38wks +, lol).
There will absolutely be an epidural!! We have to start with misoprostol to soften cervix first so I won't get pitocin for a long time.. But since it's twins and delivery takes place in OR in case of complications, the epi gets placed early (without meds flowing) bc otherwise a c/s would have to be under general if an emergency arose.. Anyway, I'm guessing these babies won't be born until Friday.... They are very comfortable and will have to be forcibly evicted!!!
Hard to believe they will be here soon after all the heartache and tears!!!!

The PgAL board does "labor buddies," meaning that people buddy up and share cell numbers or similar so they can text their labor buddy, who then posts updates to the board, when they go into labor. I think it's a cool idea.

Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive. Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)
