best eye cream

I feel like I should be using something in my eye area. My crows feet are getting more pronounced and these years of not sleeping have left permanent bags under my eyes. Anyone have a favorite eye cream? I LOVE my day and night moisturizer but need something different.

Re: best eye cream

  • My grandmother used Ponds Cold Cream every day. She looked nowhere near her age. I always say I'm going to start it, but then I don't.

  • My great aunts (aged 80-90) look amazing and they all used straight up petroleum jelly every night before bed for 50+ years and their facial skin looks decades younger. My grandma (their sister) did not and she doesn't have her sisters' amazing skin. I started doing it in my early 20s. Bonus - super cheap.

Some people say it causes acne but I haven't had that happen.
  • I am using a really nice Bobbi brown one now. I think it's called The Extra.
Sounds like you need brightening and anti-aging. So you may want to go to a few counters and see what they offer in those realms.

    Petroleum jelly. Just under/around eyes.

And I now have this under/around my eyes, on my chapped nose (from tissues) and on my lips. I hope I don't get acne!

If you do a search on petroleum jelly, you will see that it really isn't all that good for your skin. I found out about it a while ago while reading some stuff on baby lotions.

*Edited because I forgot to add that it is banned in Europe in the cosmetics industry.

I would never put petroleum jelly on my face skin. UO?
