Making Formula In Advance - Question

I would like to start pre-mixing a days worth of formula in a pitcher and storing it in the fridge, but I have a couple of questions.  When you initially mix the formula are you using warm or cold tap water?  I'm wondering if it is ok to use warm water (as I do now) and then chill in the fridge?  And if you use cold water to mix does the formula dissolve properly or does it settle at the bottom of the container?  Also do you shake/stir the container before you pour a bottle to shake up an settle formula?

We use cool tap water and mix in a Dr. Browns pitcher. I usually am mixing for daycare so I go ahead and split it among bottles. Otherwise I just give the pitcher a swirl in case anything has settled. No issues with clumps or mixing because of the cool water.
    This.

If you use warm water I would pour it out in bottles before putting in the fridge so that it will cool down to fridge temp faster.
