Chest pains

Het so for the last three weeks I have had check pain on and off. It doesn't feel like heartburn and it's not sore it's a stabbing pain. It's super uncomfortable and it doesn't seem to matter when it happens. My doctors and sent me to the hospital to have an EKG done however when I got there the doctor said it was just heartburn pain and I have to just deal with it. I know pains come with pregnancy but mine has had many complication and I am just nervous. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I go to the hospital?

    I had chest pains a few months back. They were so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. I had it checked out and I was fine...heartburn. But as I was waiting for my husband to come home to take me to the doctors I wrote down exactly what I was feeling....just Incase he came home and found me on the floor. I have been taking Pepcid as needed and haven't had the pains since. Good luck!

    I get really bad chest pains, too! I chalk mine up to heartburn... I think I've gotten so used to having it that I just don't realize it's happening anymore until it gets extreme. Tums usually makes it go away... I eat at least 4-6 of the cherry chewables a day.

    I get chest pain in the middle of my chest and my doc said its just my body being soar from the baby kicking and all he said to do was lay down so he's not kicking strait into my ribs

    Thank you everyone! It's just so strang the way our bodies are changing and things happen. I am first time mom so I feel like I get nervous about everything. I have heard heartburn can cause this pain but I defaintly will be talking to my doctor about it.... Also thank for the link it defaintly helped:)... It's nice having other moms to get all this advise from!
