  This is one of those times when living in Ukraine with a Canadian husband blows. I want it all, but won't get any of it unless I make it myself! This has inspired me to at least make stuffing and potatoes au gratin though! Turkey I can live without.

  Agreed. I voted potatoes au gratin, but gravy, mac n cheese, and meat (be it turkey or ham) are way up the list, too.

  SS here! My favorite is potato filling (stuffing)! It's basically mashed potatoes & stuffing mixed. It's made with mashed potatoes, celery, onions, butter, lots of butter & toasted bread cubes! Once it's mixed you bake it & then you add bacon to the top & broil it so it gets this great little crust on top! So delicious! Leftovers make a great & tasty potato cake fried in a cast iron skillet for breakfast!

  All the sides! Although I'll be missing DH's mushroom stuffing this year. It takes him FOREVER to make it so he's not doing it this year bc of the newborn we have kicking around. It's a Bobby Flay recipe and I thought it sounded gross when he first made it a few years ago but it's awesome!!

  Give me all of the stuffing! My grandma had a fantastic recipe that we always have every year. Think bread cubes, hamburger, all of the perfect stuffing spices, celery, walnuts and baked to toasted perfection and then you know heap it on your plate and cover with turkey and gravy.
  
  I'm hungry now.

  Turkey. My mom makes a super unhealthy southern Thanksgiving dinner and it is amazing. I think last year there were 3 sticks of butter along with chicken stock injected into the turkey.
  
  Also, she makes fried squash and fried okra. YUM.

  Our family has a great green bean casserole recipe. Sounds weird, but once you try it you'll never turn back. Instead of fried onions, our recipe calls for French cut green beans, cream of mushroom soup, sliced water chestnuts, and old English cheddar.

  Homemade stuffing, cooked outside of the bird, but the super traditional celery/onions/sage style. We missed out on thanksgiving dinner thanks to labour, so we're going to do a redo dinner soon since we still have the ham we bought.
