What Week? Food/Fruit?30 weeks - Cucumber

Appointments/Updates? I have an appointment next Monday

Rants/Raves?I'm off ALL WEEK next week because my sister is coming in for Thanksgiving and my shower!!! I can't wait to see her and my niece and nephew!!! They live in WA and we're in NJ so I don't get to see them often.

How is preparation coming along? I washed some clothes this weekend and put up curtains. We're still waiting to hear about a house we put an offer on and don't want to do too much to the house/baby's room if we're going to be leaving soon.

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here? spending time with her! Actually getting to see what she looks like!

What Week? Food/Fruit? 34 weeks, butternut squash.

Appointments/Updates? Appt on Wed morning this week.

Rants/Raves? I slept so well last night (6 hours without waking up!), but still woke up grumpy this morning. Lunch date with a friend and her newborn squish later, so hoping I'm feeling better beforehand.

How is preparation coming along? Really well! I feel good about where we are with everything, although I still have a ton of stuff that I'd like to get finished within the next few weeks. Hospital tour tonight!

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here? Snuggling her! And watching my boys meet her.

And not being hugely pregnant anymore.

What Week? Food/Fruit? 30 weeks/cucumber. Really? Cucumber? I look like I'm carrying a large bundle of cucumbers lol.

Appointments/Updates? I have a standard appointment/check up tomorrow morning, buuut I also have a 3D/4D ultrasound later in the morning. So excited!!

Rants/Raves? We may just have enough space for baby after all. We got an offer on our house and accepted. We made an offer on the house, and it was accepted. Now we're just working out the details of closing. I think we're going to move in just weeks before baby is born. It's going to be crazy, but I am excited and thankful that the ball is finally rolling because our current 960 square foot home wasn't going to cut it for 2 adults, 2 kids, and 3 dogs. lol

How is preparation coming along? Well, since we're moving, we haven't done anything to get a space ready, but I have a list of things that we need to buy. We're not having a shower (maybe something small with co-workers and a few church friends), so we need to get a move on. Thankfully, we still have the crib, change table, bedding. I have a car seat, base, stroller. A friend is giving me a PnP. I have a ton of clothes given to me. SO, I just need little things, mostly.

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here? Seeing the sibling relationship between her and DD grow. Having our family complete. And truthfully, not being pregnant anymore/ever again.

@ladyxaverian - Good luck with the move! I'm kinda in the same boat, but we're waiting to hear on a short sale, it's been 2 1/2 months!

Appointments/Updates?

I passed my 3 hour, yay! It took every bit of strength I had in me to not throw that drink right up, but I made it. Arms are still sore and bruised though. My next appt is Wednesday.

I can't believe I'm at 30 weeks already! As long as she doesn't come early, my CS is scheduled for 9 weeks from tomorrow.

Rants/Raves?

Rant - My morning sickness is back and it's bad. It's nearly as bad as 1st tri. It sucks. Fortunately, I've kinda learned how to work with my body (i.e. not drinking ANYTHING before I put food in my stomach and staying away from sugar in the morning) so while I am nauseous constantly, I can usually prevent getting really sick. Which is good, because now when I throw up, I pee! And my carpal tunnel is getting exponentially worse. Pretty soon I won't be able to use my hands at all ahh!

Rave - My hubby is awesome (most of the time haha) He had told me I could quit my job early if I wanted to, but I was on the fence about it until this weekend when he said, "why don't you just quit and we'll go on vacation!" So I have my 2 weeks notice printed out and I just have to get over my anxiety and talk to my boss. I reserved the room last night! We're going to the keys, my favorite place in all of Florida! It's just a shame I won't be able to get my drink on down there this time haha.

How is preparation coming along?

Preparation... what's that? Haha. Well, we've really made all our major purchases and if she came today the only thing we'd need to do is run out and buy some diapers, but we're not really setting stuff up until late next month. She's going to be in our room, so for now that stuff would just be in our way.

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here?

Holding her... I just cannot wait (ok, well I can) to have her in my arms.

Appointments/updates: I don't go back until 32 weeks.

Rant: I'm sick (again) with a sinus infection. Taking a sick day today that eats into my small amount of paid leave I have for my maternity leave.

Rave: DH and I are heading out of town for a night without DD for our babymoon this weekend and I can't wait!

Preparation: Swapped some furniture around over the weekend and got the new curtains hung in DD's room which they'll share. It's looking cute!

Looking forward to most: tiny baby snuggles and no longer sharing my body!

Appointments/Updates? Lately her kicks are making my belly really sore. Grumble.

Rants/Raves? DH totally spilled about a surprise baby shower that's happening sometime in the next 6 weeks... and I'm super excited because he also accidentally spilled about my best friend planning it which means she's flying up from Florida and I haven't seen her in almost 6 months! Bottom line, my husband can't keep secrets but I don't care because I'm really excited!!!

How is preparation coming along? Her nursery is almost done! I put up the curtains and assembled the glider yesterday! There's some art that I have coming from Etsy that I need to hang up but otherwise it's done!

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here? Baby snuggles. Also, I'm super excited to see what she looks like!

Appointments/Updates? Next appointment on Dec. 5, and growth u/s on Dec. 15.

Rants/Raves? I'm tired. So so so so tired. More tired than I've ever felt before (except maybe Basic Training but that was 15yrs ago and that was definitely a different kind of exhaustion!).

How is preparation coming along? It's not, really, but we'll make do with what we have so far.

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here? Not being pregnant anymore, and holding my tiny squish in my arms, smelling the baby smell and feeling her warmth against my chest.

30 weeks, cucumber. That's a lie. ... No way am I carrying a cucumber.

Just got home from my midwife appt. The verdict is in. I'm able to have a water birth if I so choose. \:D/ They had a midwife meeting and I was brought up. Since I have a velamentous cord they had to discuss me having a water birth, and they all agreed it should be fine. My mfm was even brought into their meeting and she is on board too! I shouldn't need continuous monitoring during labor, as long as everything from here on out stays the same. I'll need to have a NST before getting into the tub though, and I'll have some additional monitoring while I'm laboring in the tub. Anyway, I'm just glad a water birth is an option. I may not even use it, or it may not help me with laboring.... But at least I've got the option.
I've gained 16 lbs, so I need to slow my weight down. I'm thinking I'll start my GD diet again from here on out to limit my weight gain. Goal is 20 lbs maximum. (I'm over weight. )
My next midwife appt is in 2 weeks, and my mfm is in 2 weeks too.

No real rants or raves. I'm feeling good.

I'm actually not preparing this time. I've bought 2 fleece sleepers and that's it. I'm trying to find a cute coming home outfit, but have yet to find anything. I'll hit up H&M at some point and see what they got.
If he decided to come, I've got clothes, my boobs, blankets, and a bed. I'll have to send DH to go grab diapers. Next month I'll probably get the itch to prepare. I need a dresser, so I'll get that after Christmas.

Looking forward to just having him, and kissing his sweet face.

What Week? Food/Fruit? 30 weeks, cucumber Appointments/Updates? My next appointment is on Thursday. Rants/Raves? I've been on Diclegis for nausea since week 6. I wanted to see if I could go a day without it, so I didn't take it on Saturday night and by Sunday afternoon I was throwing up. I don't want to take medicine anymore! How is preparation coming along? We have everything we need since we just had our son last year, but it's all thrown into the nursery in a pile. We just bought our house over the summer and have been doing lots of work and unfortunately the baby room will not be done for months after his or her birth. What are you looking forward to most when LO is here? BFing again! As stressful as it was at times, I kind of miss it and am excited to have that bond again. I'm sorry if my response isn't spaced correctly, I am on my iPad and I'm not sure how to space everything. This is the first ticker change I've participated in...I'm not sure why Ive never done this, but I will from now on. Thanks ladies!

-I had an appointment and ultrasound last week and everything is right on track. My next appointment is December 3.

Rants/Raves?
-My back pain is starting to get worse but my boyfriend is amazing and gives me massages.

How is preparation coming along?
-It's not. I feel like nothing is ready. We have a crib, a couple outfits, diapers, wipes, and a pack and play. Nothing is set up though and I'm starting to get nervous.

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here?
-I'm excited to see what she looks like, how my boyfriend acts since this is our first (I know he will be a great dad), and to see how my nephews react to meeting their first cousin. (:

I never got to the point of just being done with being pregnant with my son. I enjoyed pregnancy and felt good the whole time but this time I'm already over it, I've been so tired and worn out and sore, daily headaches,and back aches. 9 or less weeks though

How is preparation coming along?
I bought travel size shampoo and all that today for my hospital bag. Husband is almost done reconstructing the basement living space so we'll have a normal size house again! Very exciting!

What are you looking forward to most when LO is here?
I can't wait to meet her and see what she looks like and form that bond again like I have with my son. I love being a mommy.
