I can hear crickets chirping. So what's up with you? Tell me about your weekend?
Saturday was our 1 year anniversary and DH and I wanted to go out for dinner. It was also the same day as our city Christmas Parade. My mom wanted to take C with her to walk with the Husky Club. So she came to pick C up, and locked herself out. #-o
While trying too coax her dogs into the front seats and step on the door lock, E got into my makeup and crushed it all. Lovely. After dad came (28 miles each way...) to unlock the truck, mom left with C. DH and spent the day at the hardware stores, pricing out kitchen items and deciding on the floor tile. So that was great.
Dh and I did get to go out for dinner and we went Outback. It was delicious and awesome, and i was halfway through a Bloomin' Onion when I remembered that i Breastfeed. Oops. So tosay I've had a super pissed off baby. All in all, it was a good weekend.
Re: Hello? (hello... hello... echo)
I also finally bought some jeans that actually fit my post-baby body, so now I'm not limited to sweat pants everyday (or trying to stuff myself into pants that don't fit when I can't wear sweatpants somewhere). We spent time with our families and went to church yesterday. I love weekends because I have DH there to help me, starting another week when I'm alone most of the time can be a bit overwhelming.

I saw Andrew McMahon play in Philly on Friday night, it was an amazing show! Damn near lost my voice from singing along, then head to wake up on nearly no sleep to work on Satursay morning with a newly-acquired cold. Worth it though.
Went out to dinner with the in laws for MIL's birthday on Saturday night. Really yummy food. DD ate for an hour straight and amazed everyone.
Yesterday we went to the ILs' house in the morning for breakfast, and since I was feeling pretty miserable from my cold, DH took responsibility for DD after her nap so I could rest. He's a good egg. ;-)
I'm staying home sick from work today, because colds are dumb. Since my mom is still going to watch Amelia this morning, I think the plan is to lie in bed, drink tea, and sneeze a bunch. :P.
DH, DS, and I went out for pizza Friday night. It was really good and DS was really well-behaved. It helped that we were sitting outside (did I mention I love CA?), so he could run around to his heart's content.
Saturday was SIL's baby shower, so we spent the whole day doing that and hanging out with DH's siblings (five of the seven were there). It was a really fun day with lots of yummy things. We went out to dinner with the family members and two SILs took over DS from us, so we actually got to eat our dinners uninterrupted. That was pretty awesome. I was so tired by the time we got home, though.
Yesterday we went to church; I didn't have to do my regular assignment during third hour, but went to a presentation for all the women where we got treats to eat and just got to relax. We went back yesterday evening for another presentation (our area temple turned 50 years old and one of our apostles spoke at the celebration), and it was really good. DS was pretty great- happy the whole time, kind of loud at some points, but we couldn't have asked for much more. It was a really nice weekend!
My last week of cheer is this week - I have practice today and Thursday and then I am out. And I'm having a sprinkle thrown for me on Tuesday, so I am looking forward to that too!

I worked all weekend:( The joys of retail. On Saturday I worked earlier and audited our black Friday truck which was fun to see the awesome stuff we will have and get ideas on what I want to get for Roo for Christmas but I was so tired I fell asleep about as soon as I got home.
Today is the beginning of my weekend which I see a lot of laundry and cleaning in my future.
Happy anniversary Tamarar5 and uncapriswife!
On Saturday I took DD to see a local marionette production of Cinderella. Then my younger niece came over from noon to about 6pm. I am watching her 2-3 days a week now that her dad is working again. I'm watching her tomorrow in fact. When Dd went to bed DH and I tried to watch Guardians of the Galaxy. When the second act climaxed we knew we were bored and switched to The Winter Soldier. But it was late and DD woke up so we watched more of it during her nap yesterday and I think I kind of like it. We're going to finish it (and maybe Guardians of the galaxy too?) tonight as soon as DD is asleep enough for me to unlatch her.
Since singingsea mentioned watching guardians as well I'm going to add that It's funny bc I never read either of those titles (though I knew of Captain America from other comics) but I lovelovelove Thanos and the Infinity Crisis story line so I was really surprised that I found Guardians so bad. I think I didn't like the writer and the action was too heavy on CG effects and environments (I know that given where the story takes place and some of the characters that a lot of CG is necessary but as a viewer I would have appreciated partial animatronics/puppets/real sets to ground the CG a little bit. I know Farscape spoiled me rotten). Also the fight coordinator was bad. The fights were like renn faire fights
Yesterday we hung out at home all day just the three of us. I worked on Christmas gift crafts and DH worked at his illustrations. Then DH and I had some quality time together while DD napped midday. BTW (slightly TMI but...) I think we might not wait until feb to TTC after all. I posted last month about how we accidentally DTD in my fertile window bc of my long cycle and lack of sleep that day. Well ever since then we've been talking about it and then yesterday we DTD knowing full well that I ovulate today so, yeah, we're officially giving it a go.
Today DD and I ran errands and cleaned. DH went to work and to the farm pick-up and we played with DD after dinner. It was a typical Monday.
Ok... Time to wake DH up and get a glass of wine and watch the rest of these movies!
