As usual the book had a lot more detail. I really struggled to enjoy the movie because I was so busy thinking of the differences between it and the book.
I think I would have enjoyed the movie a lot more had I not just finished the book.
But it was nice to get out to watch it! We went to the fancy theater that serves snacks and cocktails right at your seat.
I liked the book more, but it was mainly because I had a hard time seeing the story as fictional, when I was recognizing locations where it was filmed. One that sticks out in my mind-when Amy drove hundreds of miles to 'secluded Ozark cabins', she was hanging out with those two neighbors (can't remember their names for the life of me)... They went mini golfing... At a location maybe 5 miles from where the rest of the 'North Carthage' scenes were filmed. Hard to wrap my brain around!

I read the book so long ago that I couldn't really remember it very well. I thought the movie was fantastic. I don't know if that was because a.) first movie in 8 mos, b.) out with bestie, c.) couldn't remember details in book, or d.) it was truly fantastic.
