Hi everyone.  I'm new to the boards and new to motherhood.  So far it has been very exhausting.  My DS is 2 weeks.  Can I start introducing the bottle of pumped milk once every other day?  Or will that still cause nipple confusions?

    I'd say it depends if you're having trouble BF or not. We had to supplement in he hospital, and DS has had no nipple confusion. He is 9 weeks old and he will take a bottle and my breast.

    My son had latching issues from day one. We went straight to the bottle, and haven't looked back. He's 10 weeks old now, but spent the first month on pumped milk.

    I will say, because my wife and I have virtually no family or friends around to assist us, she stuck to pumping. It allowed us to better schedule our activities around her pumping frequency.
