  You HAVE to treat it. If it's already a kidney infection and not just a urinary tract infection that means it's moved past the light stages into the lets attack your kidney stages. Left untreated it's harmful to your baby. Although I'm assuming you know all that because who else but your doctor would have confirmed that you have one?

  @SuperFudge00‌ I have had them treated during pregnancy. Amoxicillin (similar to penicillin) is safe during pregnancy. There is no option of leaving them untreated or you don't get to have functioning kidneys anymore

  Agreed - DH just went through a Kidney transplant the end of last year. Kidney issues are no joke.

  I was being sarcastic because why would OP come to an Internet forum for medical advice that would have to be followed up by a health professional anyway.
