freaking out.

So last week plus this weekend have been absolutely horrible. Wreaked my car last week so after spending over 200 to get it fixed my starter decided to go out today while I was at the grocery. Its's like below 0 outside plus I haven't ate anything so as I'm waiting in my car for my husband to come pick me up I started getting really really bad cramps. No spotting or bleeding. I've checked like every 10 mins. The cramps went away but my lower back is killing me now. The oncall nurse wasn't answering but should I be worried or is this all caused by stress. I'm laying down now with my feet up but I'm seriously freaking out..

Re: freaking out.

  • Cramping is pretty common in early pregnancy. Try to relax, hydrate and put your feet up. Watch some tv, read, or do something to keep your mind off it. I hope you feel better soon!

  • Sounds like you had a very stressful go. I would chalk it up to stress for now and do what you can to breathe and relax as much as possible to keep it as just a stress moment. The more you worry about it the more stressed you are causing more problems. No blood I'd say just relax and breathe and monitor yourself.
  • Lower back pain is definitely normal. I don't know about really bad, stabbing cramps, but it sounds like you've been under a ton of stress. You're doing the right thing by lying down. Deep, deep breaths. Freaking out isn't going to help anything. It's not good for the baby, or especially for you to skip meals. Keep a snickers bar in yo pocket if you have too, but don't NOT eat!
