I don't know how to do a clicky poll, so just comment! And I'm sorry if this has been discussed!

Beckham is in pampers. He has been peeing out of them. I am guessing the pee is coming from the top thanks to his little wiener...

So, what works for yall?

We've always use Huggies for DS when he's not in cloth diapers (like when we travel).

Is his penis pointed down when you change him? Make sure the leg ruffles on the diaper are pulled out (DS leaked until I figured this out). Also sometimes going up a size helps.

I will point it down! He doesn't leak from the sides, he literally pees out of his diaper.

We're using Pampers too, and I only knew to point it down because one of my friends was complaining that her babysitter didn't know to do it and he peed out of the diaper! The nurse in the hospital made sure to tell me too, lol.

Eli peed out the top of some of his newborn diapers, so we moved up to size 1 and pull the top tabs tight and point penis down and no more problems

We use pampers too but she doesn't have a wiener to pee out of the diaper so I can't give the best advice!!

We use Seventh Generation diapers and learned at his first check up you're supposed to point his penis down. We had some leaks before that.

DS has always used pampers. I just point him down. When he starts to pee out it's usually because we need to move up a size (even if the weight on the box doesn't match).

I didn't know anything about pointing it down either. My little guy would have a completely dry diaper and soaking wet clothes and blanket before the hospital nurses clued me in on that one.

This was probably just a first time parent's mistake, but we had two wet leaks the first night we were home. When my sister came over to see him, she pointed out that they needed to be several inches tighter. We were scared of squeezing him I guess. Now we overlap the tabs (6 lb in Newborn Pampers Swaddlers) and no leaks since then. I have no idea how you're supposed to aim it at this point, especially covered in vaseline. It just points where it points.

When they re so little I always had trouble with my boys peeing out or pooping out of any disposable. I tried a bunch of different brands and found the cheap store brands work the same as the name brand for my boys. I found only the cloth diapers I used would contain it all when they were little.

I'm having a bit of leakage issues too. We've been using pampers NB size. Yesterday it seemed like he was a pee Houdini and peed through every diaper. It even leaked from the back a couple of times.

We've been pointing his penis down, the diaper is tight enough IMO - but maybe we should try to tighten it after reading the pp's. I'm thinking a lot of it is the Vaseline for his circ. we are to stop Vaseline Wed, so I shall find out!

Parkers mom went out and bought luvs because she was convinced pampers sucked. Lol. Needless to say, he is back in pampers and his penis is down.... No leaks!

We have been using workhorse fitted cloth diapers with a cover. DD2 is having huge pees and we haven't had a leak yet!

Pampers Swaddlers for us! No leaks, probably due to them letting us know to put penis point down in the hospital. He has managed to pee on us mid change though, including at the pediatricians office yesterday
