Symptoms: Belly is pretty uncomfortable, LO is still proving skillful at hitting my sciatica.
AW/Updates: Meh, just trying not to get too down about getting closer to a possible induction.
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on? Smoking cigarettes is going to be one I'm not okay with LO ever trying. It's taken me years to avoid showing distaste even when simply walking by smokers on the street. And I've seen enough of my family suffer, and badly, from having smoked and it makes me sick so I have a REALLY tough time with it.
Symptoms: latching is getting easier, which is good. He has a slight tongue tie, so he has problems getting on, but once he's on, he's good to go! Otherwise, still swollen and sore from the episiotomy. And Gabby is having major sleep regression. It's H's problem, but it's harder to see him undo the months of work I put into getting her bedtime routine down. I just have to let it go.
AW: we gave Louie a paci yesterday, and it's been amazing having more freedom for me. Someone else can now hold him!
GTKY: I'm with you on the smoking, @Carebella! I'm very allergic and can't be around it.
EDD/Weeks/Birthday! 11/28 - 38 weeks Symptoms: Tire out easily. Trying to get the house cleaned before the baby gets here and I can only do a little at a time done before I have to rest. I really need to get that nesting energy but I don't think it's going to happen. My husband will help but I have him doing other needed things (grocery shopping, etc.) but will have to recruit him when he gets home. AW/Updates: My appointment Thursday was with a different doctor in the office since my doctor was out of town. She wasn't happy with my blood pressure (130/82) since it was higher than it usually is at appointments. So after she did a cervix check, between 2-3 cm dilated and 90% effaced, she sent me to labor & delivery to get extended monitoring on my blood pressure. It was fine the entire time we were there and blood work came back fine so they sent me home. It was a nice trial run for the big day though. Got to go through admission and triage so we know what we will be doing. At the appointment though we did our weekly NST and sono. The tech asked if we wanted her to turn on the 4D during the sono. No one had asked us that before and we had talked about not doing one because we didn't want to see the baby in that way before the big day, but decided why not. The tech said baby is so squished she didn't think we'd be able to see much. And she was right. The pic isn't that great but it was neat to see. My mom was with us and she thought it was really cool too. GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on? I'm with you ladies and the no smoking! I'm sure we'll have something with messing with the cats. We've already told both grandmas, who will be sharing babysitting duties, we plan to limit screen time when the baby is old enough for real screen time. We haven't decided specifics yet though.
Symptoms: Baby is dropping lower each day, and the case of hiccups baby had today was REALLY weird because of it. Waking up with some hip pain in the morning, but nothing that getting out of bed won't fix. I'm going to be honest: I've had a really smooth pregnancy thus far, and I feel like a bitch for complaining about being pregnant. I'm not like @FhSTAR81 who actually has legitimate things to complain about.
AW/Updates: Last Tuesday I was 1.5cm dilated and 60-70% effaced. NST scheduled for this Tuesday.
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on? I have no idea. I just plan on playing this whole parenthood thing by ear.
Same old third tri symptoms. Did have a trip to l&d on thur for early unproductive labor. Was sent home, knew i would, and labor has slowed/stopped. Pretty painful contractions every hour though still. Nothing regular to time anymore.
My last appointment befoe my scheduled cesarean is this wed. My c section is the 25th! Can't believe it's so close.
I'm very big on manners, common courtesy, and being nice to everyone.

Symptoms: Baby naps good in his bassinet all day, but at night he only seems to fall asleep with us.
AW/Updates: I am breastfeeding and started pumping today! We tried an ounce earlier to see if he would take the bottle and it worked. I am looking forward to a break from one feeding at night at least.
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on? I don't want him to ever be hooked on video games.
Symptoms: I pooped TWICE today! Is this the increased BM I hear about? My hemerroids didn't appreciate it though.
AW/Updates: appointment tomorrow - my first cervix check. Right now, I'm just grumpy and sore and expecting to go another three+ weeks.
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on?
I total agree with the smoking, because I have asthma, and I'd appreciate if she didn't try to kill me. We will also be having a very stern talk about which hockey teams she is allowed to support.
Symptoms: feeling awesome! Hoping the weight really starts to fall off now
AW/Updates: baby girl is doing awesome! She and I have our two week appt with the MW on Thursday. Can't wait to see how much she weighs now!
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on? We have two older children... So we have a lot of hard rules... Too many to name haha! One of the biggest ones for me is no tv /technology until 2 yo minimum. Yep - I'm that mom.
@mrsodonnell12 I'm hoping to limit technology but I haven't really figured out any hard and fast limits at this point. I know it will be challenging because I love TV and DH is a gamer and game designer so we have basically device imaginable. I am curious though, how does it work or how do you handle it once you have a LO that is old enough to get access and one that is still to young?
Glad you posted this @carebella I've been mostly lurking this week but was happy to see out check in!
EDD/Weeks/Birthday! EDD was 11/14 LO arrived on 11/11 (Tuesday)
Symptoms: my feet and fingers are still swollen and I'm sore from a 2nd degree tear. Also, these hormones are no joke.
AW/Updates: DH has been so amazing and my little girl is an angel. We had our first pediatrician appointment on Saturday and everything is looking good (a huge relief considering her delivery!)
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on?
I love the ones listed above. As a teacher, I see so many kids with bad manners and it drives me nuts! I also agree about the technology limits and smoking. I also am not going to allow swearing - I guess I'm going to be a pretty strict parent...
ETA: I had to leave my laptop at school for the duration of my maternity leave....mobile bumping sucks! Edited for spelling/punctuation.
AW/Updates: After my trip to L&D this weekend I'll be doing 2x weekly NST & serial BP monitoring at the hospital. Eta* I'm on strict bed rest too. My next OB appt is Friday at 39 weeks. Really hoping this baby decides to come on her own so that I don't have to be induced (not favorable atm).
GTKY: Do you already have a rule that you will impose/teach to baby that you won't bend on? Manners. It's something I really value and don't waiver with my son.

@Bandia12 Internet hugs to you. Hope the BP calms down, and your LO comes on time so you don't need to be induced.
We have the same due date, and although my BP has been okay, I'm staring into that week 42 void! And yes, the movements are PAINFUL! Not cute, not uncomfortable, but OUCH! She's facing my front, which apparently accounts for the painful kicks.
I haven't been posting on the weekly updates, just because I'm pretty boring. Which I'm thankful for!
EDD/Weeks: Nov 28, 38
Symptoms: She's really low, so bumping nerves, sore hips, and peeing a lot.
AW/Updates: MW guessed her weight at 7lb 2oz today. She wouldn't stop squirming long enough to let her get a heart rate reading.
GTKY: Ditto with the manners... they must have respect for their elders. DH's customs also value that, with some weird extra mannerisms from South Africa. :P

Symptoms: I feel great besides the exhaustion and a little lingering pain. Oh and my boobs. Those still suck, literally.
AW/Updates: She is gaining weight like a big girl. Sleeps all day and keeps me up all night
GTKY: How do I enforce the "don't wake mommy till 10am" rule?
Symptoms: Insomnia, headache/high BP, painful movements
