hi!! Just wanted to post everyone a quick hello.
Background info: 28 (29 in January) female. Hubby is 29. We have been together 10 years - married a little over 4. We have a golden retriever fur baby.

Hubby and I just started TTC at the beginning of this month. I went off bcp on October 31, so don't expect much this month, but it didn't stop me from hoping and trying like hell. I used wondfo ovulation tests this month, and I was pleased that i ovulated this month after being on the pill for 10 years. I was worried I might not. So anyway, i ovulated yesterday, I believe. We made love the day before and yesterday. I felt so hopeful during and all the rest of the day, but today I've just felt ...meh. Like it can't possibly be that easy and like I should feel different or something if I conceived (I know that's not the case). Anyway, I guess a hello post has turned into a mini-rant. I'm just very excited to finally post that we are FINALLY TTC.

I am a newbie also.. TTC for 2 months so far.
You will notice so many things about your body that you never paid attention to & coming off of BCP will be a huge mind game. Just remember that post BCP symptoms are pretty much identical to AF, Ovulation, & Pregnancy symptoms.. If you start symptom spotting you will be the engineer of the crazy train!
I started temping within my first week & definitely recommend it! I love that it takes the guessing out of O!
TB is a great resource and these ladies are so knowledgable!
Welcome & Good Luck! Hope your stay is short and sweet!!
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions :-)

@labess
I did the same thing. I was so excited to test cuz I was feeling "pregnancy" symptoms. It turned out to be my body normalizing from the BC and it was so disappointing. But being on the forum and learning from everyone has really made my time TTGP night and day easier. Rather than guessing I'm temping and using FF and OPK. And reading the newbie post was also amazing and informative. I'm glad I found this forum!
