It snowed last night not to happy about it. I was hoping it would wait a littlelonger to snow. Oh well. We are off.today in earchof snow boots for little man since i.procrastinated. what is everyone else up.too?
Taking the kids to Big Hero 6 in a bit. The cold weather hit this week so we need out of the house. DH is working this morning. Overtime is good since Christmas is so $$$$.
Sigh. My SS quit his job this morning. He just doesn't want to work. Doesn't even care. He is so incredibly lazy and I don't know what to do to address it. He has poor grades, is in no sports or clubs, and now doesn't work. He does absolutely nothing productive. MH and I are hard workers and active people, so I feel we set a good example, and we don't just give him money or things, we expect him to earn it. Shit like this makes me feel like we are failing at parenting.
On a bright note, it is freezing out, but sunny with no snow, so me and C are going to get outside for a bit. And the freezing killed all the fall junk that was making my allergies suck, so I can breathe through my nose and wear contacts again, which is delightful and I missed it.
Gamed all my 6 hours last night. Now I've got the post-exciting-event-boredom going. LOL It doesn't full release until Tuesday. Sigh.
Headed to a bounce house this morning to celebrate my niece's birthday then back to their house to open presents. I'm assuming Girl will be a grouch because Grandma doesn't enforce bedtime. That's ok. I know she loves her Grandma time, and she is always so excited when I tell her she gets to go spend the night. If you can't bend the rules at Grandma's house, where can you?

We went to the gym this morning and are lounging now. DH and I are going downtown tonight to see Mamma Mia at the one small theater we have. I think it'll be fun!
i wonder what the kim kardashian pictures looked like before being photoshopped....
I do not understand why she feels the need to photoshop. She may be one of the most annoying people in the country, but her body is killer, and she is pretty.
I did finally purchase winter boots for wesley but i was a little upset at target as they had 3 different snow boots for toddler boys, Spider-Man, black and blue and black and grey. Thats it.they also only had 10 pairs. They had 2 aisles full on each side plus 3 end caps of boots for toddler girls. I cant believe all different selection they had for girls. When i asked if i had somehow missed the boys boots the target employee told me "no thats all we have but that i could purchase girl ones if I wasn't happy with their boy selection ". I was shocked i cant but my son in glitter pink snow boots. We did buy the black and blue p pair for wesley but im still in shock at the reply i got.
@StefanieM522 ours has a whole row of boy boots and shoes but dam the girls stuff SUCKS. Can't a girl just have a plain pair of sneakers and not some glittery pink/purple/orange puke fest?
I was really shocked at the amount of glitter optionson.just boots alone for the girls. I think its too much.
Tonight was baby crib jailbreak night. It's 11 pm and I'm rocking her again because she keeps getting out of bed and taking off all her clothes. How she figures out how to get out of her zip up pjs that are in backwards is beyond me
Please send booze
Oh man, @piffley! What a stinker! I admit I giggled a bit... Only because that's so nuts!
Norah's snow boots (from Target) are gold glitter lol. I love them but to each her own. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/FileUpload/65/4b35e36e013c5d9cf8c9eeb1e57744.jpg" / Ours also has 2-3 boys options which sucks. Wes is still wearing his from last year but I know they won't last through March so I need to break down and buy some while I can find the next size up. He's not into super heroes really, so plain black with a tiny bit of color has been our only option...
Speaking of snow- Wes was up before 7 demanding to build a snow man. He's now wearing snow boots with pjs until I finally give in and go out. Coffee first, child. Not sure I'll be able to talk him into church today....
B didn't go to bed until almost 11 and then was up from about midnight until 4, then slept until 9. No idea what her problem was but I'm exhausted. 4 hour drive soon too
My kids are both napping - thank god ds was tired today. Bonus of playing in the snow! So I'm bumping, shopping online and riding my exercise bike. Will clean after I'm done. Parents are coming tomorrow before college bb game and house is so cluttered. I get rid of stuff and it doesn't get less cluttered. Dreading Christmas for that reason
This morning we played in the snow. Fun, but this snow can GTFO. Took the girls to my parents (long trek across the street) and spent the afternoon shampooing our carpets. They don't look that great still, but they smell 1000% better. Our house had stinky dog and baby vom stank. I can't wait to get wood floors. Now were watching the Packers whoop on Philly, and shortly will pick up some wings and have dinner at my parents.
@piffley , I'm sorry, but that made me laugh a lot. Hope tonight goes better.
@NeedUtonite everybody here suggested gating ds in. It worked perfectly. He can get out and wander the house at night that terrifies me. But e can open the door and I can hear him if there is a problem.
We had a fabulous day! Lunch at Olive Garden with my sister and her family to celebrate niece's 16th birthday. We went shopping for me to find a shirt to wear at thanksgiving, but ended up with a dress for A instead. Came home and all napped together. Girl slept for just almost 3 hours! Then we watched some TV and then went to DQ for ice cream. Now she's splashing around in the tub talking to the bubbles from her bubble bath.

He's still at the fucking bar.
Ikea is about an hour away and we have to take B to MILs before we go. They close at 9.
