Haven't had this for a few weeks, I think, and it's on my brain right now

So...
Where are you in your cycle / how many cycles until you start TTC again?
How are you feeling about it right now?
Of course a healthy baby is the most important thing and has priority, but if you were told to pick a sex for the next baby, which would you choose? Why?

I'm now 5dpo, and our timing turned out to be alright despite DH's hospital stay. We hit O-2 and O-1.

I have no clue, but in all three of my previous pregnancies, I got bad cramps (like - run to the bathroom constantly to see if AF started a week early) at 7dpo. I'm therefore hoping I'll have a better guess on Monday. Of course, it could just be that implantation happened to occur at 7dpo all three times and this time it's on a different day, but I'll definitely be on cramp-alert on Monday

I never really thought of myself as a girl mom. I thought I would do better with boys. Now we have 2 girls, and I'm having a hard time picturing myself having a boy. DH would really like a boy, but this time around I think if it were to be a girl I'd think, "Ok, I got this." and if it were a boy I'd think, "Yikes... I feel like I've got to start learning all over again." So just for comfort-level reasons I think I'd choose a girl. I think DH would choose a boy because, well, he's already outnumbered and is feeling intimidated about possibly having 3 daughters going through puberty at once (scares the poop out of me, too, TBH

).

Hi there --

Where are you in your cycle / how many cycles until you start TTC again? I'm CD16

How are you feeling about it right now? I'm definitely hopeful, but because of just plain business this month, I haven't paid as much attention to how I'm feeling in relation to DPO. I have fairly short cycles, so I do know that I'm expecting the next AF show somewhere around 11/17. So, we'll see f we got the timing right this time.

Of course a healthy baby is the most important thing and has priority, but if you were told to pick a sex for the next baby, which would you choose? Why? So, I would actually choose another boy. However, DH wants a girl really badly. So, for his sake, I'd pick a girl this time around. Something about teenage girls scares the crazies out of me :-)

Cycle 3/3 (1 AL) CD 20, FF says 7 DPO but another high temp tomorrow will change it to 3 DPO

How are you feeling about it right now?
Nervous. I just am hoping that I actually ovulated so that we can move past the is first cycle post miscarriage.

I'm torn. I know DH would love to have a son but having daughter is pretty awesome and I want Emmalyn to have a sister!

I only have three menses before we TTC.
I'm excited but nervous bc of my short luteal phase (and subsequently long follicular phase). I know it's due to continuing to nurse DD on demand and at this point I'm not ready to start mother led weaning so I'm hoping my cycles start to even out soon.
As for sex preference I'm totally a-okay with either, even if we were only able to have two total children and weren't planning on more.

I'm starting to think about all the things that need to be done before a new baby arrives as well. Like my rocking chair needs repair and reupholstering and I HAVE to find an organizational solution for my craft room. Any body else thinking about this kind of thing?

@sidrajedi my LP was 11 days, on the short side of normal. I took B6 for a month and it didn't change my LP, but the next month I started taking vitex too and my LP lengthened by 2 days. Might be something you want to look into.

I was going to post something similar! I had a short luteal phase and took B6. I conceived DS the next month!

I will also have to try the b6. My luteual phase is also only 11 days. As far as TTC, we are out this month. No sexy time during FW. Boo. Oh well there is next month.

I took b6 last month. Can't say how it affected my LP because I got pregnant but then miscarried but am using again this month as well.

My luteal phase was 8-9 days for the 6 months we were trying. I got my bfp on 7DPO according to FF but that seems so early, I'm saying I O'd a day sooner and got my bfp on 8dpo. Since Implantation occurs on 7-10dpo, it's definitely possible to get pregnant with a shorter LP. Good luck!

Month 4 Cycle 2

I'm CD40

How are you feeling about it right now? I am starting to get discouraged. I have had 2 cycles since August because my cycles seem to be 40+ days long. This time around, I have no idea when/IF I ovulated. I had a temperature spike at CD28 but my OPKs were negative and I didn't notice any change in CM. That would make me 12 days past Ovulation if I did in fact ovulate on CD28. Still no period.... Not great timing either if I ovulated on CD28 because we did it 3 days before O.

Of course a healthy baby is the most important thing and has priority, but if you were told to pick a sex for the next baby, which would you choose? Why? I really don't care. I would like another boy because I think that DS#2 and the new baby could be friends and share a room, etc. I already have all the boy stuff so that would make things a lot easier. I also really want a girl because it will be my last baby and we already have a house full of boys.

How are you feeling about it right now? I've been charting since March but I'm all over the map so just kind of winging it right now. I have no clue what the f I'm doing

Honestly I think I'm out this month.

Of course a healthy baby is the most important thing and has priority, but if you were told to pick a sex for the next baby, which would you choose? Why? Boy. From the financial stand point of already having a bunch of boy stuff.

Where are you in your cycle / how many cycles until you start TTC again? I've lost count-- we've been trying for the past year for #2. We had 4 failed clomid cycles. I'm on CD32 now. Waiting for AF to start another medicated round, but this time with a RE and letrozole/ovidrel instead of clomid. I haven't been charting for the past two months while we were going through all of our testing with the RE. It's been a nice break.

How are you feeling about it right now? Right now I don't feel 100% in the TTC game. We are trying to sell/buy a house and that's been taking up a lot of our energy. I haven't been charting because I know I don't ovulate and it's pointless unless I'm taking something to induce ovulation.

Of course a healthy baby is the most important thing and has priority, but if you were told to pick a sex for the next baby, which would you choose? Why? I love having a daughter more than I ever could have imagined. For #2, I don't mind either way, but it would be nice to at least have one of each. I wouldn't mind having to buy all new (& cute) baby outfits!!

Pretty sure I'm 1DPO here. I started charting this month for the first time since the kids were born. I was worried it might make me crazy but it's actually more comforting b/c I know when to expect my period instead of wondering if I'm late and trying not to get my hopes up. Timing was decent this month: O-3, and O. We'll see. I'm not super hopeful that we'll conceive on our own again, but miracles do happen.

As far as the sex of a third child, we have a boy and a girl already, so I'd be happy with whatever we have. I've kept all of our boy and girl stuff.
