Neck fold rash

Searches bring up a lot of helpful diaper rash info, but old three chins here is getting really red in her neck folds. I'm trying to clean daily and keep dry, but any advice? Aquaphor? Diaper cream? I feel so bad for her, it looks painful.

    I've used Aquaphor overnight and it helped. Good luck!

    I asked my pedi about what they recommend and when she looked she said it was a yeast infection and gave us nystatin. It started as just red and then he started having white stuff in the creases despite cleaning regularly. Nystatin cleared it right up. Hard to keep the creases clean and dry!

    My pediatrician recommended using a blow dryer on the cool setting and then applying diaper cream.

    We washed with light soap and water, dried thoroughly, and applied Aquaphor and it really helped.

    Yikes, I never thought about a rash in the neck folds! I've noticed redness at times, but thought it was related to irritation after wiping the white cheesy stuff and lint out. I'm definitely going to be putting cream in there now!
