I'm trying to start budgeting for the stuff we will need for this little one. We still have all of our stuff from the first 2, I'm just wondering what I'm missing. I know we need a new carseat, stroller, baby monitor. I think we will get a few bottles (never used them before but insurance covers a pump so we're gonna give it a try I think) and we have paci babies so we will need some of those. I want to get a good carrier since DD1 and DD2 are used to being out and about in the summer. Also considering a RNP. They were fairly new when DD2 was born I think and I couldn't justify it. Now I am all about making my life easier. What else am I missing? DD2 will be almost 5 so I've missed some of the latest and greatest 'absolute must-haves', I'm sure.
Re: Those pregnant with #3+
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

We are going to register. BRU gives a completion coupon and they give you a percentage back off of everything you buy off of your registry on a Gift Card. Makes it easier to keep track of what we still need to get too.
We need new car seats, bottles, pacifiers, bathing stuff like towels, wash cloths, grooming items, new monitor, baby gates (we went from a small apartment with the 2 kids to a house so never needed gates before), booster seat, breast pump stuff, sheets, burp cloths, bibs, hamper (last one we had for baby clothes broke).
DH thought I was crazy when I said we needed to register but when I showed him the list on BRU's website he realized it was a good idea. Look at their list on the site. It has all of the essentials.

Crib
New bottle nipples
New pacis
New tubing etc for my pump
We are having a girl this time so we will have a few girly clothing items
My BFP Chart
So here are my must haves which you did not list-
Rock and play (ok, you listed this but I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful these things are. Splurge and get the snugabunny or monkey for $20 more.)
Sleep sheep
The soft gauze/muslin swaddling blankets
Burt's bees diaper cream (and soap and shampoo)
Angelcare baby bath support- this came out between ds and dd and it is way better than all the tubs we tried for ds.
Huggies pure and natural newborn and size 1 diapers. Dd had sensitive skin and these are amazing. She outgrew her sensitivity by 2/3 months.
Gas drops! Lots and lots of gas drops. Those aren't new. We just use them a lot in the first 3 months and the bottles are small and disappear right when you need them.
moby wrap & ergo (got rid of ours)
crib
rock and play (plan to keep baby w/ us since we are on main floor and all other bedrooms are upstairs)
we had a rainforest soother in the crib with our other girls and they all loved it, so I plan to look for another one or something similar.
monitor
will need new crib sheets and a new changing pad and covers, too.
All the other stuff seems minor to me. I gave away about 90% of our baby clothes but I'm planning to just pick up some onesies and simple things and call it good for a while. I feel like my perspective on what we really need is so pared down than in year's past. There's lots I've given away that I don't feel like I need back now that we're having another.
So excited for Baby #4!
