  • If this is for real, even though I would consider myself a modern wife/mom...I feel like this ruins fairy tales. I don't think my daughter needs it pointed out to her a young age that Ursula might be a suppressed ruler or cinderellas step sisters are mean because of societal pressures on female beauty.

  • Satire, but satire is used precisely to make a point.

  • The only Disney movie DD1 can watch is Frozen. We talk about how even though Hans is a prince he is mean and how Kristoff is nice. It's never too early to discuss, IMO. I also don't like how much make-up Elsa wears.

    And I can't even with the other princess movies...blah.
    also, her off-the-shoulder dress. my friends 4yo daughter constantly tugs at her sleeves to pull it down like elsa.
