Feeling really confused and disappointed.

Hello! I was hoping someone had gone through what I am going through and share some positivity and if it isn't positive then give me the straight facts lol thank you in advance.

So a week ago I wasn't feeling myself took a home preg test x4 all came back positive. Went to the doc took a urine test came back negative.(doc says I'm 6 weeks) So they sent me for blood preg test (awaiting results) Then the very next day I got period like cramps and bleeding. Not very heavy but not light either. Now could I bleed like this and not miscarry? It feels nothing more than a period flow. My periods are very irregular if that info is helpful. I'm feeling quite sad because I was feeling so blessed but does me bleeding completely rule out my pregnancy is gone?

Sorry this is happening to you, but it sounds like you really need to check in with your doctor to find out what's going on. Good luck!

They will need to monitor your levels to see if they are doubling or going down. That will be the only way to know. Sorry you're dealing with this.

I'm sorry you are in limbo. Some spotting can be pretty common, but hopefully your OB will help you find out for sure very soon.

I'm sorry you are going through this. I had just gone through a similar situation last week. It ended in miscarriage though. When I first started bleeding my Dr said bleeding is okay as long as your beta levels continue to go up. Unfortunately mine dropped drastically. I'm very sorry your in limbo and not knowing is the worst. Feel free to message me !! Sending positive thoughts your way. My sister used to bleed "period like flow" her entire pregnancy and everything was fine. Everybody is different and it sucks there are no clear cut answers. But I wouldn't lose hope because anything is possible. Keep us updated. ♡♡♡

I had the exact same experience as jeslilyn and also ended in a miscarriage. My betas also fell rapidly....you'll really know more after you see your dr again.

Sorry you're going through this, I know how tough limbo land is! Hoping for the best!

For the most part I'm ok, but I still think about how far along I'd be and how we'd be announcing it soon if things would have turned out differently a lot.

I will say my period after the misscarriage was awful! Ugh, so heavy had felt like it was never going to end.

Thanks for asking, how are you adjusting? I think that was the hardest part, finally getting used to the idea and then a total 180 knowing there won't be a baby.

I'm in the same boat as mommygrams and jeslilyn, I do have a friend who had seemingly regular cycle bleeding throughout her pregnancies.
I hope things work out for you! Know that either way, you are not alone.

Aww thanks everyone! My levels dropped. So I found out today I had a miscarriage. Oh well. Hopefully next round will be a good one. Were pretty disappointed but if baby was unhealthy best to go now then week 30, that would be a lot harder. Now I'm curious will "things" look different down there? Should I go to the doc to have him examine, he didn't say. So I'm assuming if I continue to just bleed and no pain then I should be okay health wise?

BTW I really do appreciate all the responses. It helps a lot hearing others journeys to mommyhood whether it's now and if not hopefully later

I never went back in. I treated it like a period and had no other issues. I was told to take a pregnancy test a week after the miscarriage as a way to check. I did and it was negative and then I had my first cycle after my miscarriage a few weeks ago so I'm thinking I'm fine. If you're not sure you can always call and ask your dr.

@mommy grams‌ I feel alot better now than I did. It's comforting to know that others feel the same way, little things here and there will make me think "Oh I'd Be This Many Weeks By now". And it's crazy to think "oh there will be two" and suddenly now there's not. Thank you for responding/sharing. I haven't got my period yet but I'm totally hoping it's not awful. *fingers crossed*

@livelovelift12‌ I'm So Sorry To hear! I was on cytotec to help everything along. My bleeding took about a week to stop, i went back for an appointment and they said everything felt fine and I do back this week for another beta level to make sure it goes back down.
